      Subject: Problems getting answers about step railings order from October 3, 2023 and officially requesting return of my $700 downpayment for lack of response.On October 3, 2023 I agreed to purchase (2) outside wrought iron step railings and gave *** (their sellers rep) $700 with the understanding (from *** and owner/whoever answered the telephone) that it would take a couple of weeks to get installation of the step railings. On November 6, 2023 (one month later), I called for the status on installation of the step railings only to be told that there is a problem (something to do with cap not holding or would/could breaking off), which no one bothered to inform me about prior to my telephone call and was told that *** would call me about alternative (whatever that entails). November 7th, makes it 5th weeks.On November 8th, I called to inform (owner/whoever answers the telephone) that I have not heard from *** and was told that he (owner/whoever answers the telephone) had just got through talking to *** and would have him call me. I don't know what's going on with *** or the company, causing the delay. Bottom line for me, I don't have the step railings that I wanted before the snow and ice comes and no phone calls from ***. If the company can't do the job, too busy, can't give me a firm commitment about an installation date or the alternatives to whatever they say the problem is over $100's more than I agreed to, then I want my $700 back so I can go with the next company, I had on my list (************************* which has an A+ rating) who gave me an estimate time of four weeks. Since this company had an A rating with the Better Business Bureau, I figured it was safe to use them. I sent Energy Savers **** a letter on November 10th, of my plans to contact you (BBB) about my experience with them and maybe you can help in resolving this problem if they refuse to return my $700.
