I made a purchase on 06/08/2024, with a different billing address than the shipping address. The order was processed smoothly, shipped without any issues, and I received the item in a timely manner. Satisfied, I decided to order the same item again on 07/09/2024. The next day I received a notification that my order had been cancelled and refunded without any prior communication or explanation. Upon reaching out to the support department for clarification, I was informed that the order was cancelled due to a potential fraud alert triggered by the system and the billing address I entered at checkout did not match the billing address associated with the credit card used for the transaction. However, the billing information and credit card details for both orders did indeed match.I was advised to ensure that all information entered during checkout is accurate and matches the credit card details to avoid such issues in the future. I find it disheartening to receive a generic response that places the blame on me for potential inaccuracies in the information entered during checkout, especially when the details were correct. It seems contradictory that the same details that were accepted previously suddenly raised a red flag on my subsequent order.I spoke to a different representative who mentioned that the fraud department is very strict and that I could only reorder if he obtained permission from them. This raises concerns about the inconsistency in the application of your company's policies. I am puzzled as to why the option of providing a different billing address and shipping address at checkout is available if the company will not honor it. Instead of simply cancelling the order and issuing a refund without notice, it would have been more constructive to reach out to me to verify the details and address any concerns. Many customers, including myself, often send items to different addresses for various reasons, such as gifts for friends or family members.
