We hired Macomb Paving to build a retaining wall around the front of our house. We told them there were underground water pipes that irrigate the property and they should be very careful not to break them. They completed the work and we gave ********************* a final payment check of $3,925.00. He told ** that his bank was holding the check for 7 days and he had to pay his workers. I gave him another check from my Chase account for $3,925.00. He told me that as soon as the first check cleared he would use Zelle to transfer the $3,925.00 back into my chase account. He told me he would do this on 4/18/2023. He did not. I have called, texted, and emailed ****, He will not respond to any of these and has blocked me from his ******** account. Additionally, his workers broke the irragation pipes in 7 places oround the house under the retaining wall. The company that does the irrigation for our HOA said the wall would have to be removed in several places to repair the damage.The resolution we want is a return of the $3,925 overpayment and the repair of the irrigation system.
