I paid $6,000 for a front passenger lift seat for my adult daughter. When I went to have it installed the wrong seat was ordered.Once installed, the seat has minimal use due to set backs from surgery; the van is also wheelchair accessible. The installation of the lift seat involved hooking 2 wires to the van battery. Despite the seat not being used for months it was draining the van battery. As an example, I was unable to start the van at a gas station 50 miles from home due to a dead battery after pumping gas. The installation tech, ****, at Creative Mobility ************, said it was a ****** problem. ***************** twice told me it was an installation problem; I live in the ******* area. **** recommended I take it to ************ ****** and told me he would talk to his tech friends there. ************ ****** said it was an installation problem. To the best of my knowledge **** did not contact ****** although I left a message for him with my appointment date/time. ***** advice was to disconnect the seat wires from the battery and recommended I buy a new battery for a new **************** ****** charged me a $105 service fee. I asked **** in the Creative Mobility service department in GR on July 14th for reimbursement. With no follow up on his part I called him 6 weeks later. He told me he'd call back the next day which he didn't. When I called him the following week he explained that he was too busy with other things. I asked for the owner and got her name and phone number and left a voice mail. **** emailed the next week to let me know that ********, the owner, asked him to contact me to let me know that they would not reimburse **** paid $6,000 for a product that didn't work correctly and they claim no responsibility. My Mr. *** It neighbor has the seat wired to a small battery that is not drawing from the van battery. It 's a simple fix that Creative Mobility could/should have done. Shoddy work and POOR customer relations.
