************ Description of complaint:We contracted this business last November and since then have given them around $22.000 for supplies to build an addition and a small garage. They have made up every excuse why they haven't started this year. He blames us for not getting approval from our community but we got the sunroom/porch approval last November and showed him or gave him the copy. We wanted at least that part started and he said the deposit would secure a spot in april for us. We have caught the owner in several lies- one after another why they havent started. He told us reasons why its taking them so long to even get a permit so we investigated ourselves and got different answers right from the sources and he accused us of backstabbing and he cant work with us. I have kept all our communications so far. All his texts and emails and his secretarys from the beginning. He wants to end our contract but he refuses to speak with us. He is still lying in his texts and emails. He keeps changing the date of delivery and changed what he originally texted us. We called him daily and texted him and emailed him daily and he wouldnt respond until recently. He says we owe him approximately $1200 for his time but refuses to give us a detailed list of his hours and costs. He also refuses to give me our receipts for all the building supplies I PURCHASED WITH MY MONEY. I WANT MY RECEIPTS. HE REFUSES TO SPEAK TO US. HE KEEPS CHANGING DATES ON DELIVERY. HE KEEPS CHANGING THE ***** HE ORIGINALLY WROTE. He says he sends us things as attachments and there are none. I have all the emails to prove it. He still refuses to speak to us. All we want is our money back since HE IS THE ONE WHO ENDED THE CONTRACT. WE WANT OUR SUPPLIES AND THE RECEIPTS ALL IN PERFECT CONDITION. HE ALSO HAS OUR DOORS FROM LOWES that I purchased and I do have the receipts for those. WE ALSO WANT OUR CHECK FOR THE AMOUNT WE AGREED ON WHEN HE DELIVERS OUR BUILDING SUPPLIES.
