On May 2023 my husband and I purchased property at **************************. The property was surveryed by LCM and property marked. When we returned we had noticed that our neighbor had stolen our property stakes and moved his belongings onto our property. I had contacted LCM about coming out to replace survery markers at a cost of $600, then I get a call from LCM that our neighbor got his "hand caught in the cookie jar." It was stated that our neighbor would pay $100 to replace the stakes on a small portion of the property line. I had requested that my husband and I be there to visualize the markers being replaced. LCM wouldn't allow that to happen, when we returned to the property we noticed a few survery stakes placed. Still the stakes by the neighbors garage were missing along with the stakes in our backyard. In June, I called LCM and made an appointment with the cost of $600 to come back and place the rest of survery stakes. Nobody ever showed up and I called and left a message with no response. Then in December our neighbor after recieving a written letter about us re surverying our property because the continued missing/stolen survery stakes.Again our neighbor called LCM and lied and was given another $100 deal to replace the stolen survery markers and again LCM didn't allow us to witness them placing survery markers. Then when we went to verify that our neighbor garage was on our property, we were told we could be charged with a felony for removing survery stakes. Which we never did.We had our property re surveryed by a different company in 2/2024. That company used LCM survery we had, they had and replaced all survery markers at $1400. Then we got a call that LCM marked our property incorrectly. That ****** had to send someone out again to fix the mistake. We were to be charged $500 extra for LCM mistake. I contacted LCM and explained the whole situation and requested they pay the extra $500 for the improper markings and now they refuse to speak with us.Business response

We had surveyed the property in question in 2022 before the ********** owned the property, they did contact us about remarking the property in 2023, however we were unable to schedule an appointment with them after several attempts to contact them. I do not recall ******* ever leaving a message, we typically try to respond to all missed calls in a timely manner. Their neighbor contacted us in the mean time about remarking his property line which we did for him, I do not recall the ********** ever requesting to be present during the survey. It was determined that the stakes had been moved, we never made any accusations as to who moved them. As for the survey by a different company in 2024 the cost and results of the survey are between the Fieghner's and the other survey company, I am not aware of any mistakes in our previous survey.Customer response
