When you visit a hospital you not only get billed once but three times and normally they are high bills. With that being said on top of just living , house expenses , vehicle expenses and all of the other things that you naturally have to pay for, you receive 3 large bills for an er visit at the hospital. Mind you my credit score is in the lower 800s and fortunately i can pay the bill but what about those who dont have money in their account or dont have a credit card ? The only way to set up a payment plan with them is through a checking account for automatic withdrawal or using a credit card. Im one of those people that will not allow a company to be tied to my accounts for anything to be withdrawn automatically for such large sums. They claim its to help consumers decrease debt but if thats really the case then why was their monthly billing option taken away from them ? I will just be paying the full amount of the bill and sever ties with them, wont be going to that hospital anymore. Its not up to the company to decide how I choose to pay my bills or control my money. That is the consumers choice and i refuse to do business with any company that thinks they should be in control of my credit cards or bank account funds that is not an online purchase or a subscription.
