This storage place is routinely changing the terms of the contract with no advance notice during winter when finding alternative storage options is almost impossible and undesirable. In early December 2023 they decided that they want me to have renter's insurance or I will have to buy their insurance (first time ever they required this from me). After I cleared that, they sent a notification in 1/3/2024 that in their opinion "my rent was below market average" and they were raising my rate again, for the second time in 12 months. THEY ALWAYS DO IT DURING WINTER WHEN YOU HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO ACCEPT, or find storage and move in the middle of winter. I have bills to show that they have engaged in this pattern for years. After they had more than two attempts at getting extra money in less than a month, I am done with this and I decided to report them.
