Someone made a payment of $550 to my ******* account then claimed it as fraud. I reached out to my bank told them i have 100% proof & could get even more if needed that it was in fact not fraudulent on my behalf but the person who scammed me. They are telling me there is absolutely nothing they can do about recovering my money & I just can’t understand it.

      Dear Ms. ********,
This letter is in response to the complaint that was filed with the BBB (Complaint ID ********)
on December 6, 2022. The complainant received a $550.00 deposit into her account on
11/08/2022 via **** ***. The sender of the funds was the complainant’s sister. On
12/02/2022 the credit union received notification from the sister’s financial institution that this
transaction has been disputed. As a result of the dispute, funds were sent back to the sister’s
      financial institution.
The complainant contacted **** *** support, and they stated that the sender filed a dispute
with their bank asking to reverse the payment. They stated that when a dispute is filed, they
are required to return the funds. They suggested that the complainant contact the sender and
if the sender did not intend to file the dispute, ask them to follow up with their bank.
An employee at one of our locations also spoke with the complainant on 12/8/2022 and
advised her to reach out to her sister regarding the dispute. If the dispute was filed in error,
the sister would need to initiate a new transaction.
If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to contact me at
      ************.
      Sincerely,

      *** ************

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
Hello, If i could just get it back, trust me I would, I wouldn’t be pushing for my bank to do something about it. How ever I do not see how this is not considered fraud because the scammer is of relation when I have literal proof.. but since there seems to be nothing you can do for me to protect my money that I put in your care, I will be closing this account, thank you anyways though.
      Sincerely,

      ******* ********
