      Customer: ****** *******, ***** *** **** ***** *********** ** *****  Business: Davey Tree Service [formerly Floral City Tree], N. Dixie Highway, Monroe, MI 48162 Customer #: ******* Invoice #********* We pre-paid for TWO spray treatments for our pine trees on January 25, 2023, in the amount of $213.00, our check #****. Davey Tree performed the first spray of the pine trees on May 30, 2023, which was a month late [for spray to be effective it must be sprayed first week of May]. They have admitted that the second spray was never performed [should have been performed first week of June, 4 weeks after first spray]. The above invoice indicates the first spray was $108, leaving a credit balance of $105. We have spoken to the local office, and to Davey Tree's headquarters in Kent, Ohio. No one will return our calls after advising we need to speak to a manager, they will look into this, etc. It's the proverbial run-around with each office stating we must contact the other office. We want a refund of the credit balance on the account of $105.

      Upon request for a refund by the customer, the complaint was investigated and the refund process was started.  As of this writing it has been approved by Corporate and a check is set to be mailed to the customer.

      The manager has been in contact with the customer via email throughout the process  to keep them informed of where we were at in the process.

      I am rejecting this response because this company has not been forth-coming during the past several months.  We will gladly close the case WHEN THE REFUND PAYMENT IS RECEIVED by us.  They are claiming it's being mailed, but we elect to keep the case open until the check is received at our address.  This should not be more than 7-10 days if it is actually mailed.
