This dealership sends "lottery ticket" mailers. My significant other and I came in with our "winner" ticket June 7th, but we were treated extremely rudely when we didn't have a vehicle for trade in to give them information about. The winner lottery ticket was pulled out of my hands and we were kicked out for "trespassing". That's not how the lottery works. If you're going to send junk mail to my mailbox, then you better play along with your own games and give out the prizes to people who take the time to bring their mailers in, instead of trying to kick them out for "trespassing" when they don't have a vehicle to trade in.

Let me start with ************** was at our store in March of this year for the same type of sale with a similar flyer.  Therefore I have to believe she knows what our process is.  It is the same at each event.  The flyer that consumers are mailed are an invitation to our sale events.  There are several different prizes that are randomly awarded by a computer.  In order to quality for the prizes you have to go through a registration process.  Without going through that step you are not eligible for the prizes.  She refused to do that step when she was at our event this week.  The salesperson kindly said if she didn't do the registration process then he couldn't help her any further and she was free to leave.

The mailer is not a lottery ticket.  We would be required to have a license for that from the *****************.  This is a flyer that invites the consumer to our store to see which prize they quality for.  If the customer is in the market for a new car we help them with that, if we can.

My 86-year-old grandmother was taken advantage of by this car dealership. They convinced her to give up her 2017 Escape with 35k miles, and gave her another 2017 Escape with 95k miles, and charged her $6,000! When she told us what she had done we called them back within 24 hours, but they refused to work with us. They should not be allowed to take advantage of elderly persons like they have.

Customer was here for 4 hours. During that time she explained to us that the reason she wanted something else is to have a vehicle with a warranty.  She bought an extended warranty.  She also has a lifetime engine warranty with the vehicle she purchased.  Sales tax and state fees were also part of that money she paid.  The vehicle she purchased is higher value as it has more equipment and her trade had physical damage.   We do not feel that anyone was taken advantage of.
