My experience with First Choice Fence: After the first people we googled came out and gave us their estimate we started asking around and looking online for fencing companies. We gave First Choice Fence a call and Nathan was able to come out and quote us. I explained our situation and our budget and it didn't seem like it was going to be doable or be possible in our price range. Later on in the day I got the invoice from Nathan and it was right at our budget! We were thrilled! I asked about scheduling and even during their busiest time of the year Nathan made the time to come out with his crew and get the job done! When Nate and his crew were here working they were some of the kindest and fun people to talk to, and by far the best contractor I have worked with yet. Fair, reasonable, and compassionate. They were amazing with our son too by letting him and I help or play with them. It was an absolute pleasure each time they were here. They worked very hard and still made the whole environment fun and a joy to watch the process. We now have a completely fenced in back yard and they even put a really nice gate on it! It has dramatically improved the overall look of the property and the safety aspect is a breath of fresh air. This thing is beautiful! We get compliments from friends and family on it regularly. First choice fence and Nathan: You guys really are the best kind of people. Now that you're done it's sad to see you go but our yard looks great, son is safe, and he can even get the dog he has been begging us for now. A big thank you Nathan and his team! We 100% recommend First Choice Fence to friends and family, and to anyone looking to have work done. Their work is amazing and is well worth it!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! He is a crook and he does terrible work!!! I wouldn’t even give him one star if it wasn’t required!!

BEWARE: I could basically copy and paste the same review from 4-6-22. He took my down payment in April and had a story for all the delays. He said product was on back order. When I contacted ******************, they said he never ordered the product. After a few more stories and delays, I asked for a refund, he "sent" my deposit back through paypal and showed me the screen shots from paypal. The deposit was pending for several days then "failed". Paypal said because he completed the "failed" refund, he accepted liability to the transaction. Now they are going after him for the funds. HOPEFULLY, I will get my large deposit back.

**BUYER BEWARE**Contacted 1st Choice Door & Gate about a quote for fencing in April. Super responsive and polite for the estimate. Paid for the supplies, and then communication and responsiveness stopped. We gave this guy the benefit of the doubt because of Covid and the trouble with getting supplies and shipments in. After being strung along for 4 months, we asked for our money back. HE DID ask what he could do to make this right, and then said he would take $1,000 off the final ****. We told him that we just wanted our down payment back, we were tired of being strung along. Now this guy will not return calls. Last communication claimed that his phone had terrible service and he was in a time zone 6 hours behind ******** on vacation. Since this guy decided to ignore texts and calls, we filed a claim with our bank telling them what had transpired and that work was never done. Our bank ruled in our favor, so luckily we were able to recoup our full down payment. Buyer Beware! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
