      My husband and I bought 4 bags of shock and 2 bottles of Algeacide. Once we got home and moved the bags they instantly started smoking. We grabbed the kids and moved away from the bags, as it was causing a chemical reaction. My husband had a reaction on the top of his fingers as well as on my arm. Not only is our health at risk but also we have $60 in product gone to waste. We cannot transport these bags as it is not safe. Position control told us symptoms to watch for an also how to dispose. We would not only like our money back ( we have photos to show the bags burned, as well as the double plastic bags that they bagged them in. But also for family farm to educate their employees on putting pool chemicals together. Had this have happened 5 min prior to us removing them from the car, this could have been a deadly outcome with the chemicals that were being mixed and smoking inside of our car.

      This letter responds to your email dated May 21,2024 notifying Family Farm & ***** **** (hereinafter "FFH") of a complaint filed with your office by a consumer. Upon reviewing the statements provided by ******************************* in the complaint, while FFH confirms that the product was scanned, packaged and bagged in new and good condition and repair,FFH is unable to confirm the manner of customer's transporting, storage or other aspects of the customer's use from and after leaving the store.  The aforesaid notwithstanding, FFH took prompt action to address the matter and in an effort to support our customer,FFH has credited the debit card, of ********************, on May 29, 2024 for $95.25.As with returns to credit/debit cards, it could take 3-5 business days to see the credit reflected in the account.


      FFH submits that in over 10 years of selling pool chemicals, FFH has not received a complaint or notification of any issues with the chemicals or their packaging prior to this.

      My wife and I have gone into the store and called several times, including calling the corporate office to ask them to fix a flood light in the rear of their building that has been strobing for about a year. There is an apartment complex directly adjacent to the business that is affected by this very bright blinking light. The store manager stated that theres nothing they can do to fix the light. We are just asking that they replace a light bulb. Its a very big distraction especially at night time.

       Immediately upon receiving this complaint we contacted a contractor to remedy this problem. This is the first we have heard of this issue and feel we have acted quickly to solve the problem.

      Family farm and home has been advertising for 3 holiday sales .... Husqvarna 54 inch zero turn model z254f for *******.... but when you go to purchase it instore, they do not have any. Ever. Would just like to purchase one for the advertised price. Thank you.The store in question is ********* **, but will be willing to drive to pickup.

      Upon reviewing the comments from *************, Family Farm & Home store manager at the *********, ******** store immediately reached out to ************** to inform him that the store would honor the advertised price when a new Husqvarna 54" Zero Turn Mower (Model #Z254F; FFH SKU: ******; the Mower) that had been received by the store after his initial submission to the BBB.  The Mower was assembled and delivered to the store and held for the benefit of **************. When the Mower arrived at the store fully assembled, the store left a voice-mail message using the phone number provided by the ************** to inform him of the immediate availability of the Mower and invited him to purchase the Mower at the advertised price at his earliest convenience.  When the customer arrived to purchase the Mower,he provided a personal check for payment and regrettably the check did not clear at the time of purchase.  The store immediately suggested to ************** that he work with his bank to coordinate clearance of the check and further offered the options to purchase the Mower in cash or apply for the Family Farm & Home credit card which generally can be approved immediately. The store further confirmed that they would hold the Mower if he preferred to pay by cash or securing confirmation of clearance from his bank.  Notwithstanding the stores several efforts to provide several accommodations to **************, he became very angry and refused to proceed with the purchase.  Given ************** refusal to proceed with the several  accommodations provided to him,Family Farm & Home considers this matter closed.
