      Drove our 2010 GMC 2500 HD Diesel into National as the truck drove just fine until it got good a warm & then it didn't seem to know how to go or how to change gears. told *** we didn't know if it was electronic or the actual transmission because when it wasn't "confused" it drove just fine. He said they check it out. After almost two weeks he finally told us the ****** needed rebuilding and cost *****. to *****. ****. He was the pro. Another almost 3 weeks later it was finally done. 1st trip out to go shopping. We drove 7 miles, enough for the truck to get warm & guess what? It did the same exact thing. we PAID ***** for nothing. We drove slowly, because that's all it could do, back to National and left it. Asked them to please fix it this time. Two weeks later we had to pay ******* for a module that it now needed but didn't need before. When we brought up the 4 grand we paid for nothing he said, that had to be done because the gears had gotten all chewed up. That was a crock of bull pucky because the ****** was just fine when it was cool. Okay I know ***** view is probably along the lines of he rebuilt the transmission, we had to pay for it. He changed a module, we had to pay for it. My argument is simple. If *** had done his job correctly in the first place, he wouldn't have rebuilt it and we wouldn't have had to pay him *****. The first phone call with him and the following phone calls with him were always, "We'll check it out." He didn't check it out. He made an assumption that cost us dearly. He also made it clear that without paying for it we would not get our truck back. We needed the 2nd ***** repair. The first repair we didn't and while I don't believe we should have to pay a ***** for that repair as he did not do a proper diagnosis before he started work I know that he did work and perhaps we split the cost of that first repair. He keeps ***** to cover the work he did and we get ***** back to get some compensation for the unneeded work.

      This vehicle had more then one problem it had 2 sets of clutches burned and then was found to have a bad tcm which is probably why the clutches were burned. thus just replacing the *** would not have solved the whole problem just like the rebuild didnt take care of the whole problem. with the computer working improperly it caused the burn up.  If they look it up on line they will find this is common with the duramax and ******* transmission.,

      I am rejecting this response because: his answer doesn't make any sense.  It is totally different than it was when *** picked up the truck.  If the clutches were burned up we would not have been able to drive a truck that drove just fine.

      This truck was driving but not functioning proper. We overhauled the transmission because internal damage was found. Again look this up it is a common problem. I am sorry your vehicle failed this way I dont make them we just repair them.

      FIRST OFF AFTER SPEAKING TO THE ***** MULTIPLE TIMES THAT HAD MY NAME WRONG DURING EVERY CONVERSATION AFTER I IDENTIFIED MYSELF EACH TIME. I TOOK MY VEHICLE TO THIS TRANSMISSION **** BASED OFF A FEW REFFARLS THAT WERE GIVEN TO ME. I WAS QUOTED A PRICE AND TOLD WHEN I COULD EXPECT MY VEHICLE. I CALLED ALMOST A **** LATER TO CHECK ON THE PROGRESS AND I WAS TOLD THAT MY VEHICLE WOULD BE GOING IN NEXT. THE 2ND CALL WAS A FEW DAYS LATER ON A TUESDAY. I WAS THE TOLD AGAIN THAT THEY HAVE NOT YET STARTED ON MY VEHICKLE AND THAT IT WOUNLD BE GOING IN LATER THIS EVENING. DURING THE SAME CONVERSATION I ASKED IF IT WOULD POSSIBLY BE DONE BY THE END OF THE BUSINESS DAY. HE TOLD ME HE WOULD TRY AND THAT THEY WOULD BE OUT OF THE **** THE REST OF THE **** BECAUSE THEY WERE HUNTERS AND EVERYONE WAS GOING HUNTING AS IF I WAS TO BE EXCITED FOR THEM. AFTER I EXPRESSED HOW I REALLY NEED MY CAR ASAP I WAS ASSURED THAT IT WOULD GET FINISHED UP THE NEXT DAY. HOWEVER, WHEN I CALLED BACK THAT EVENING, I WAS THEN TOLD THAT SENT THE WRONG PART FOR MY VEHICLE AND THAT IT WOULD BE IN THE MORNING. HE THEN TOLD ME THATHE WOULD COME IN AFTER HUNTING AND CALL ME EITHER WAY. I NEVER RECIEVED A PHONE CALL. I TRIED CALLING THE **** A FEW TIMES INCLUDING LEAVING A VOICEMAIL AND NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE UNTIL I CALLED THAT FOLLOWING MONDAY. I WAS NEVER TOLD IF FOR ANY REASON THEY MAY NEED MY VEHICLE A COUPLE OF ****S LONGER OR THAT THEY WOULD BE CLOSING TO GO HUNTING.NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL. AFTER I PICKED UP MY VEHICLE, I THEN NEEDED OTHER MINOR WORK PEFORMED AND IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE TRANSMISSION FLUID WAS 4 QUARTS LOW!!!! I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

      this customer called said her ********************** was 4 quarts low on fluid and said she drove it in for other work . She was told to bring it in and we would check it out for her and she never came in. She was also informed that the vehicle would have been slipping or not move at all that low as she said it wasnt slipping just low. We can not do anything or check *** out without a vehicle return.
