I had 23 acres of land I sold to Nate. For the most part I had a great experience dealing with Nate. He was very courteous. We agreed on a price and set a closing date. On the day of the closing we got a very shocking and unpleasant surprise. The purchaser of the land wasn't Nate it was my former neighbor whom I didn't want to get the property. I thought I was dealing with Nate or so I thought. I immediately contacted Nate for an explanation. He tells me he could assign the property to another buyer if they were interested, Than he tells me he was going to contact me about the neighbor but it slipped his mind. He put there names as purchasers cause he figured we wanted them to have the land. I replied back and told him I didn't want them to have the property. This is very personal about this neighbor whom was meddling in our business as I stressed to Nate not to sell to him. Well he now has the property I fought to keep from him thanks to Nate. All I got was an I'm sorry. Yeah I'm sorry to. Thanks for Nothing.

Mr. ****, as previously expressed over the phone, we are very sorry for the misunderstanding. Per the purchase agreement you signed, it clearly stated that you were giving us permission to assign the purchase agreement/deal over to another buyer, if I so choose too, so this shouldn't have been a surprise to you. I chose to assign this deal to the neighbor who approached me while I was inspecting the land. If you had mentioned you did not want this specific neighbor or anyone else to have your property, after we buy it, we would have definitely honored your request. We full filled exactly what you wanted from us, as discussed on the phone, prior to us buying it. You wanted XXX amount of dollars and we had to close on it within the first week of January. I did exactly that. Us choosing to exercise the "assignment" part within the purchase agreement, it only made sense because this was farm land and it doesn't exactly fit our business model of what we do with your land after we buy it. Again, this was a complete misunderstanding and we wish we would've known these details previously. Our apologies.

Nate buys land.???? Well not mine he don't we first agreed on a price and around a month later he backed out of the deal after all the documents were signed etc. Then we agreed on another price which was less money, and once again he backed out after signing all the documents. In my opinion Nate buys land is a very unprofessional business. His tactics are at best wishy washy and lousy. I can't. Believe he has stayed in business treating people like this. If I could give him less than one star I would. Very unhappy customer

***, You said yourself that you overpaid for that land years ago. Which, maybe that was the going rate at the time. But not today. There in Frederic, MI, there's over 1000 of those lots in that same Bradford Hills Subdivision. It was supposed to a ski resort with all kinds of amenities that never came to fruition. There are over 50 lots for sale at any given time. The competition is so fierce to sell, that the actual Sold comps, Land that actually sold...They are selling for $1000 to $1500 a piece. Some people will literally give them them away. Yes, I buy land. 1 to 2 parcels a day. As I told you before, as a business, we can't pay more than what retail is.

Nate is a real person and he did in fact buy our land. I had some problematic pieces of land that we tried selling in the past. Nate and the people that work with him, even the people at the title company were super friendly and nice. I had my doubts about the whole process but everything went so smooth. The only thing that I didn't like was the notary was a half hour late, which made me late to work. That wasn't Nate's fault and that's I'm giving this review. -

Great experience, good communication, and great to do business with a team that does what they say they are going to do.
