I dont have any specific dates I do got paper. Documents though. I got a car off my Mom. Before she gave it to me she took it to Firestone in ******* for head gasket repair. When the work was done oil and other fluids were spilt all over the engine and special breather hoses were damaged and not replaced so it was letting all the carbon monoxide in the cab. When I brought it home I took it to Firestone *********** and told them my issue. The *********** Firestone said they cant do the work because they cant diagnostic the car there so I took it to speeydees they did the diagnostic and it showed the hoses were damaged and fluids spilled all over the engine. I took it back to Firestone *********** gave them the paper they had my car for three weeks. When I got the car back I drove it home. The next day in the early am while going to work all the lights started flashing the car was jerking and shut off on me two times. So I took it back to Firestone *********** and told them the issue. Because it wasnt doing that when I dropped it off. The manager then told me it wasnt his problem that all they did was change the hoses. These arent your regular hoses the engine has to be taken apart for the hoses to be installed its a 4-6 hour job just to get to were the hoses need to be replaced. I then took the car back to speedydees to get diagnostic and the report said the whole timing system was off. So when Firestone took off my timing system to replace the hoses it wasnt done correctly and I was looking at another **** dollars and they didnt want to honor the warranty. I have paper work and all the documents. I didnt pay to get the car fixed because I feel Firestone is the one that messed up and should fix it on there dime.
