I contracted with this landscaper to have a paved area adjacent to my deck replaced and extended the area by about 2 feet. The work was priced out at $5400.00 and a $1000.00 discount was imputed to get the job. I was to provide $2200.00 [half] of the money at the beginning of the job and the rest at the end of the job. I wrote a check for $2200.00 on 9.23.2021 and the job was to be done in October. The pavers were removed by workers of the owner and hauled away on 9.30.2021. There was no further activity until well into October. The owner came out look at the area on 10.06.2021 and advised that the prior pavers warped because of no foundation and advised that the area would have to be dug out further with foundation material placed. He returned the next day to informed me that the company that he ordered bricks from now did not have the brick we'd originally agreed on and that to get the bricks from another company would cost an additional $3.00/brick which with 300 sq ft was an additional $900.00. So, we no pavers now on the ground I wrote a check for an additional $900.00 dollars which he left with. There was no further activity until late on 10.13.2021 around 3 pm trenched out the additional 2 feet for the extension. During. the time in between no bricks were delivered and there wasn't enough time on the 13th to dig out the rest of the paver area for the foundation. So, times ticking on what should have been at most a 3 day job. Finally the crew returns on 10.20.2021 for dig out the rest of the originally paved area for the gravel or whatever it is you use for foundation on pavers. A minuscule amount of grave/ type material had been delivered by the owner prior to this trip by the crew out on the 10.20.2021. The crew dug out most of the area and then returned on 10.22.2021 and also dump the gravel which was totally inadequate for the space. That was the last visit and of course you can imagine through all of this I attempted to get resolution.
