My debt is more than ten years old. this company has taken my state income tax checks and taken money garnished my work checks. I am a disabled person that worked and I thought that this was illegal. I pay them every month to pay off this debt. There is interest on this debt, so I have to call this ***** of a lawyer to find out the interest owed. Is there a lawyer that could represent everyone that this company scammed? How can we all get together to file a class action lawsuit or do something? Your debt is never paid off, the customer disservice people are beyond rude, and your credit is ruined. I do not even want to give them one star. One star is for all of the people that are tired of being scammed by this company. They are not going to keep good people from the victory of stopping this nonsense.

Thank you for allowing us to respond to this review.  We often hear statements like the ones in this review.  These statements often reflect misunderstandings about Michigans laws.  In ********, judgments are good for ten years and can be renewed for another ten years.  MCL 600.5809.  The judgment entered against you was properly renewed in January of 2022 and is good for another 10 years.  Interest is allowed on money judgments pursuant to MCL 600.6013.  Furthermore, garnishments and judgments are overseen by the courts, so they are not scams or nonsense but rather legitimate debts which should be repaid.  Regarding credit reporting, our office does not do any credit reporting so we cannot comment on your implication that our offices actions ruined your credit.   While we appreciate you setting up voluntary payments, we wish you had done so earlier so you could have avoided much of the statutory interest which accumulated.  We understand your frustrations is repaying your debt, and we encourage people to address their debt as sooner rather than later.  When you wait over a decade before addressing debt, people are often surprised by the addition of statutorily allowable costs and interest.
