Biotech Clinical Labs constantly cashes my checks, then sends statements where they didn't credit it to my account and they want me to pay TWICE for something I already paid for once. Then they send it off to collection agencies. I have to spend WAY too much of my valuable time dealing with their incompetent nonsense. I have already on several occasions provided proof of payment to them, but they continue to cash checks and not credit my account. This morning I received another collection letter that was for, not one, but TWO bills I had paid already (and using a different collection agency this time... maybe the previous one got tired of trying to collect bills already paid). And the new collection agency didn't even list what bills were included, but I figured it out because both were for the same amount (but one year apart). Please help end this.I will continue to pay any unpaid bills in a timely manner... but I will NOT pay them twice. The people are unhelpful when I call, the collection companies are ill-informed, and I want your help to END THIS.Initial Complaint

My physician sends my bloodwork to Biotech. Biotech sent me a statement dated 01/24/2022 for claims from 07/07/2021 through 12/22/2021. I called and spoke to **** and discovered that Biotech billed the incorrect insurance numbers. They are billing numbers from a previous plan and not my new plan numbers. My new plan took effect November 1st, 2020. I gave **** the correct numbers (although I had given them the corrected numbers early in 2021) and she said that they would re-**** the claims. Well today I received another statement dated 2/23/2022 from Biotech for claims from August 2021 through February 2022. The amount that they said I owed from the 01/24/2022 has carried over to this second statement so they clearly have not re-billed the claims as they promised. I have given them the correct insurance numbers multiple times and they still continue to **** the incorrect numbers and send me a statement. My account number with ********************** is #*********. Please help! My insurance will pay these claims if they would only **** the correct numbers.Initial Complaint

Our family physician uses Biotech Clinical Labs for blood analysis. I always pay the Biotech bill on time (usually it's less than $15). And Biotech REGULARLY cashes our check but does not apply it to our account... then they send us past due notices even though they have our money. Calling them and trying to explain the situation just gets the runaround. Then they send it off to collections... for money they ALREADY have. I've already informed their collections contractor about this once, but now they've done it again and I expect to hear from collections again soon. I shouldn't have to waste my time proving to them that I paid them - especially when I put the account number and name of the individual RIGHT ON THE CHECK.
