Feb 3, ****, Comfort Inn by choicehotels, long term stay for 6 weeks, spending about $5000. This hotel has been great until I found bed bugs, and the general manager response is "there's no rooms available, you can stay in the same room or leave." This is the dispute. Not providing any solutions, that could ease my mind for 1, 2 not giving me a clean room (that is available,) 3 understanding the value in all of my items potentially being infested with bed bugs! ************* says there is nothing they can do and is completely useless. General manager doesn't see the issue or any issue i.e.: comment above. and front desk staff disrespectful way to stop talking with me. This morning, they said the hotel was booked and that's why i couldn't extend my stay. i called choicehotels and says it was actually that the bedroom is broken. I've been here for weeks; id know if the room was broken. Lies.Through Choice, Priceline, Expedia all advertise rooms available to book with this specific hotel at this specific time. I mention the availability shown on all these websites. GM response through front desk staff is "you can book it online but that doesn't mean we'll keep the reservation." Shocked, I started to record the conversation. But after that rude comment, I tried to explain it as proof there are rooms available. I don't understand what this is such a big issue. what does it matter to change rooms! Comfort Inn resolve the issue. they denied me service instead. Confirmation number for booking: ********;; ********* account number for stay before. Lastly, front desk lady ended our conversation with :: she says "abcdefg", i asked what it meant, she says "abcdefg this conversation is over". Embarrassing childish behavior.
