I signed a contract with KLH Contracting July, 2022. The contract provided the labor and materials for kitchen cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and flooring in my kitchen, living room, dining room, and hallway. The total contract price was $29,000. I put $10,000 down per the contract requirements. *** from KLH provided me with a list of vendors he preferred that I ordered the materials from such as the cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and floors. I went to each of the vendors and picked out the materials that I wanted. After the cabinets were ordered it was discovered that cabinets were not correct, but I was told the order could not be stopped. We also discovered other discrepancies with the backsplash and floorings. I emailed **** from ************** regarding the cabinets to schedule a meeting to see what we could do to get the correct cabinets ordered, and she offered to meet on 9/3 to discuss. I asked *** if he was available on 9/3 to meet with us, and he responded that he was not available on Saturdays or Sundays. I asked him when he would be available and he did not respond. I emailed him again on 9/6 in an attempt to schedule a meeting to resolve our discrepancies but I still have not received a response. I have also sent pictures of the cabinet discrepancies to **** and asked her to please order the correct cabinets, but I have not received a response from her. At this point, I would like a refund as I feel *** and I are not able to work together to resolve the issues.
