On March 06th 2023 my daughter and I went to schafer Chevrolet to test drive a 2014 jeep cherokee latitude. She fell in love with it drove fine . There were 4 or 5 different latitudes there and we drove them all. Upon standing at the back of it the rear tires appeared to be slanted and i questioned this. I was told that they all do it. Sure enough everyone they had did it, so i figured well must be true.She liked the 2014 the best and we began the purchase process. We put ****** to hold the vehicle. The rest was financed for a total of roughly ********. On June 17th my daughter had 2 flat tires due to the new tires being worn down to the threads showing. I pulled wheels off and found the rear axle knuckles had worn out bushings. I called for the part at a local dealership and was quoted ******* per wheel for the knuckle because there is no replacement bushings. I was also informed that they were on back order and may see them by August. So I searched salvage yards and found 2 off of a jeep that had ***** miles on it and bought them for ******. I will be replacing them this weekend which I'm sure will take the majority of the weekend. With that being said with parts and labor this night mare will cost me around 1******
