      The customer service representatives are typically friendly but I have had the worst time trying to obtain a simple patient statement that basically equates to a receipt of payment for my last 2 refills. I need to submit this to my pharmaceutical company in order to obtain reimbursement for my copay. This single page document should be sent within a day or two of receiving my medication. Over 2 weeks , 5 phone calls, 1 chat bot conversation, and 2 emails to customer service later, still no letter or email. Each representative has told me they have documented a note for the "supervisor" but yet I cannot be put in touch with the supervisor directly? I would be happy to wait on the line as this mysterious supervisor sends the letter via email so I can ensure receipt. Absolutely horrible service. I mean, come on, how hard can this be???

      My insurance is really pushy about trying to promote this pharmacy. I use it as my absolute last resort when trying to fill my ******* prescription because they're reasonably likely to have the generic in stock when others don't (presumably because they can't actually fill a prescription to save their lives so it probably just sits around.) I have never once had a helpful phone call with them, which is a problem because all but one of my orders have required multiple phone calls to sort out. Half the time they'll tell me to call someone else and then that person tells me that only the pharmacy can deal with the problem. They can't answer basic questions about the service (I was put on hold for ten minutes after asking "what if I'm not home when my controlled substance comes in the mail" once and the answer after all that was "wait until they try and fail to deliver it and then go to the post office.") For some name brands they charge for a 90-day supply even for drugs that they can legally only dispense 30 of (I found this out from insurance after Birdi claimed it was an insurance issue!) If you have a prescription in your cart on the website and then need to change something (and you HAVE to put it in the cart for it to show a price), it'll come back as "too soon" to order it because the one in the cart counts as having filled it recently. Once a phone rep had to manually cancel it because it had vanished from the cart on my end. The one time everything went smoothly it took them five days to even begin shipping it after I ordered. This is for a drug that I only get a week-long window to refill each month, and which I need to take to deal with their phone support clownery. They've never gotten it to me before I've run out, and I can't imagine ordering a drug I needed to live from them. They will give no indication that anything is wrong on the online portal when they're out of stock or whatever, you have to either wait 3-5 days for an update or call them.

      Elixir has rebranded as "Birdi" but it's still the same terrible company. Absolute worst experience I have ever had with pharmacy coverage. I have spent hours and hours on the phone trying to transfer scripts, only to have to re-contact Providers *every time* an RX needs to be refilled. There is inconsistent access to the portal, making it impossible to fill meds on time and to remain compliant with treatment regimens. I follow the steps provided and the changes still aren't made. The IT department is unable to resolve portal access issues. The customer service line is unable to follow through on request. The electronic prescription transfer feature DOES NOT WORK and is a waste of time (and it takes a lot of time to complete). We have been dealing with this nightmare of a company since September of last year and it is so bad, I am asking my spouse to consider a job change just to NOT have to use Elixir. Again, WORST experience with pharmacy cover in my entire life. If I could give zero stars, that would be more appropriate.

      If I can give it a MINUS 5 STARS I would ! Terrible insurance ! I have SLE " LUPUS" and this insurance company doesn't care about people and their well being. They stick their nose where it doesn't belong and won't approve a prescription that my doctor has prescribed. They told me to have my doctor fill out a form and then it would be approved. Well the form was completed 4 days ago and they have it and when I call in the answer is it's UNDER REVIEW . Well now it's been 4 days and still not approved. Every time I call in I talk to a new person and they don't care either . I have serious health issues suffering from LUPUS and this place would rather have you suffer than fulfill their end of the insurance agreement. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT PEOPLE !!!

      Having paid a relatively high premium for my Part D coverage, I am extremely frustrated with the lack of service. They are dropping coverage at the end of the year, and I have signed up for a different plan for 2024, but I am now, in early December 2023, listed as disenrolled after numerous failed attempts to refill a critical prescription, with no notification and an early deduction of the premium. Because of that, I am unable to review my prescription history on their website! If that isn't illegal, it should be!

      Mail order pharmacy is ridiculous. Keep getting disconnected, having to repeat the same info over and over and over.very frustrating

      If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible pharmacy. As a health care provider I have dealt with a lot of pharmacies and this is by far the worst. Save yourself the time and find a different mail order or fill local. It took over 3 weeks to get a simple prescription filled. When I called multiple times I kept getting a different answer on why it wasn't filled or shipped. Finally had to have my provider send it to a local pharmacy. The last call I made I asked to speak to a manager and was left on hold for over 17 minutes. I just hung up and decided it wasn't worth my time.

      I am tired of asking for money they have admitted they owe me. Everytime I speak to someone the check is in the mail. Or do we have your correct address? This company had no problem reaching in my checking account every month,but suddenly you don't know me???

      I've never experienced the level of incompetence within such a company, one tasked with providing medications, sometimes life-critical, with absolutely no regard for the client or their need for whichever medication. After suddenly sending me a huge monthly premium increase at nearly the end of December, I have also had to call and email "customer service representatives" countless times, often multiple times for a single medication, often with very lengthy, time consuming phone calls, and often waiting many days to weeks before a single issue on a single prescription is finally resolved and the medication finally mailed. You can totally forget about getting anything accomplished once a holiday or weekend hits if your issue is unresolved no matter if it has been all week long waiting or much longer. I can almost always count on finding out after lengthy calls and back and forth emails that the next day or even several days to weeks later that whatever I was told, even when multiple people on multiple different calls/emails/days tell me the same thing, is completely incorrect and I have to start all over. All of this occurs while whatever medication I have been trying to have delivered is continuously delayed. The past several months, in particular, I cannot recall simply doing the simple task of going to the website and ordering a refill sitting in my prescription list and having it filled, shipped, and delivered in a usual timely manner without a flurry of these days or weeks long hold *** with countless hours spent on those calls and emails. It would be a comedy of biblical proportion if not for the fact that at the end of the day it is your very necessary medications hijacked by people who are operating in such an incongruous environment that literally noone knows what seems to be fact or even reality whatsoever in any department at Elixir. It's a shame it isn't as easy to free oneself from their claws as it is to go to a different grocery store. 100% lunacy.
