  I purchased laminate for my kitchen floor and entryways (2). Floor traders sent a man out to measure, after the measurements, I was given a price for product including cord around and installation.I was told to go out and purchase vinyl sheeting because he could not guarantee the laminate product in my 2 entryways. So I purchased it. So now Im all set, Im waiting on man to come out and install it. The man came out and told me why did you buy that vinyl sheeting. I was told to buy it. He said,Its harder for me to install sheeting. So he called floor traders and I purchased additional laminate for the entryways and he charged me more. Before he started he said he was going to Lowes to purchase the cord around. He came and put the floor down. He said he could not put the cord around down, because he did not have his saw. I asked him, did he buy any cord around for the kitchen, he said no,he purchase all what Lowes had. So I asked,what are you going to do for the kitchen? He said, put the old up. I said no, so he said I had to purchase that. So I did, he said he would be back Saturday to finish. He came back two weeks later and cut some of the cord around in my entryway and told me he didnt have enough cord around to finish. So he didnt install any of it. He said he had to go back to lowes. After 2 more weeks, I called floor traders and was told, they gave him and me that cord around free. He never purchased anything. from Lowes. Floor traders said they have to order more if needed. The installer never mentioned it or ordered it. So I took a piece of the cord to floor traders so they could order it. I dont think they ordered it, I think they forgot. I called today total of over 2.5 months. He said I need two more weeks. So I asked just have the guy finish my kitchen and entryways with whats here. Still nothing. My price included cord around and everything. I have sheeting I cant use and I cant get my work completed. they do not care.

  Regarding ***************************** complaint:

   

  The Floor Trader of ******* sells material only.  We are a cash and carry retail store.  The customer hires their own installer.  We have gone above and beyond (as we do for all customers) to try to make ******* a happy customer.  We have talked to her at least 20 times on the phone to try to accommodate her. She states that the product was cord around.  It took me a minute to figure out that she was talking about a product called QUARTER ROUND.  The installer she had hired went to her house last week to install the piece of quarter round.  We aren't sure what else we can do to accommodate her.  We deal with products and we do not pay installers through Floor Trader.  That portion goes directly through the customer.
