On October 27, 2023, BBB Serving Eastern Michigan and Upper Peninsula investigated Ganebet for its business practices. Our investigation was prompted by a consumer complaint. The consumer told BBB, "I ordered shoes for my son for Christmas last year... When he tried to resell them, they were authenticated, and they told him they were counterfeit."
The consumer shared the company's response to an online chat. The response confirmed merchandise on Ganebet's website is not authentic and the business has an expectation that consumers are aware of this fact based on their prices.
Upon review of the company's website, BBB found too-good-to-be-true prices and no disclosure regarding the authenticity of merchandise sold on the company's website.
Ganebet is not a registered business name in the State of Michigan. BBB requested background information, including its physical location, ownership, and contact information. Mail to 226 Foxboro in Saginaw, MI 48638 (residential address) was returned with "Not at this address" written on it. The phone number 989-249-9982 is disconnected, emails to [email protected] were read, and BBB also attempted to contact the company via chat message. As of 11/20/23, the business has failed to respond to BBB requests.
