    I signed up with the program back in September 2023 after seeking ways to pay off my debt quicker after my husband surgery. GRT sent me several letters about becoming debt free. I decided to view my options. After speak with ************ decided that Id sign up. I was promised that my money would be basically held and grow in escrow as I pay, they would settle accounts on my behalf, and what length of the program would suit me best. I wasnt told how low my credit score would get or exactly how much of the money would go to fees. ********** made me believe about 25% of what I pay would be in fees and the rest would go to paying off my debts. In the beginning they would call me and communicate with me but once I started the second phase of the program communication came to a stand still. I called several times concerned with my credit score and why wasnt other accounts being settled? The responses I got were that the older the account the better the settlement. Thing I was not informed with to begin with. They got offers and two of my accounts one at 75% and another for 45% I paid them over 3400 and only about ************************************************************************* which the rest of the money Ive paid to them has gone to fees! $430 a month is what I pay and after losing my job I was barely hanging on with three kids to feed. I told them I no longer wanted their services and wanted what I had left in escrow which is about $400, they refuse to give it back and told me I owe them $800 dollars more in fees but they wouldnt collect on it. So they would keep what I have in escrow and return nothing to me. With most of the money Ive been paying for going into their pockets its completely disheartening that they couldnt even return what I had left in escrow. This company preys on people in their lowest times.

    If I could give zero stars I would. Started program in February 2024, here it is July 2024 and only 2 out of 6 of the accounts have been settled. Neither was for their target pricing. I eventually decided to remove two business accounts from my plan and inquired what the change in my draft would be and they said "nothing" despite that debt being almost 40% of my total debt. At that point I decided to withdrawal from the program. Unfortunately, this was right after they drafted my monthly payment. Since they had reached an agreement with two cards, and one had been paid off using deposites thus far, I expected a refund. Imagine my shock when I went to my ledger and the exact amount my blanance was all drafted in fees. The 3 debits that totalled my balance were all twice as much as any other debit that had ever been made. Upon digging a little further I noticed lots of fees I was never told about including a 2 day check fee for EACH payment that was made! It total, about $3400 in deposites were made and I paid $1500 in fees in just 5 months. Negotiated directly with your creditors. You do not need a third party, they will not *** you if you communicate, after my *********** account was nearly 6 months past due from this program, I called *********** and received a payment term I could handle and ALL my payment is going to them. HORRIBLE COMPANY THAT TAKES ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE DURING A TIME WHEN THEY ARE MOST VULNERABLE.
