Extreme Loans provided my husband and I with a pre approval for a loan. Two months later they denied the loan because of something on my husbands credit report. They did not say there was an issue, hence the approval. We paid for an inspection on a home that we were prepared to buy. Extreme Loans then denied the loan, blaming underwriting. If there was an issue we should have never received the approval.Business response

After receiving this complaint, our Branch Manager reached out to the client. The client removed the inaccurate complaint, so this issue should be resolved. The client was left satisfied, so this should be resolved without a complaint.Customer response

I closed on my home at the beginning of March of this year. There were several debts that were paid of at the closing. However, one loan was not paid in full. When I contact the credit union that housed the loan, they stated they did not receive a request for a 10-day payoff until after the closing. I called Extreme Loans and was told that it was not their problem. The payoff check was $730 short. All debts that were paid of required a payoff letter which they did not request from First ******************** They are now saying that this is not required. I understand that the $730 would have come out of my pocket at closing which I had at the time. Finding out almost 2 months later is a completely different story and my financial situation has changed. They are not taking any responsibility and now I am facing a financial hardshipBusiness response

Extreme loans earned my business about a month and a half ago by undercutting another mortgage company by a great deal. I was being offered **** percent and extreme loans offered 6 percent and had a loan estimate sent to me with stating as such with a fixed interest rate. Night of closing the disclosure had completely changed and was now at **** percent even though i was pre approved etc, The excuse was that my interest rate was a balloon rate and not fixed, contradicting the paper work. ***** and ******* from the company kept saying they would fix it yet never even came close to what they originally had me sign. It was excuse after excuse. Now since they screwed me over interest raise have risen again thus I cannot find anything under 7 anymore. I had several offers under 7 percent when they offered 6. I kept every single text and communication from this company and am seeking some time of monetary settlement for all the time and interest rate that I have lost because of this company. Lie after lie after lie. This company states they are fair and honest and couldnt be further from the truth. I do not want this to happen to anyone else.
