*************************** very unprofessional definitely looking somewhere else I told him I was looking to buy a house in like 18 months an this man told me my credit score was low and needing to ask family to put me on there credit card to jump my score up I told him Im trying to this on my own an once again he keeps messaging about thats my only option an then tells me he will look at it every 30 days Im not even looking to buy a house for at least 12 months an I know my credit score will go up tremendously by then. But ***** keeps messaging that he is my only option an I told him *** had other offers an he laughs at me an calls me a liar this man needs to be fired immediately an will let everyone I come in contact with not to go through this company. I had to block his number because he kept messaging my phone after I told him to stop messaging me.Review from Darren L

Won't honor written opt out requests or phone requests. How in the h*** is do they have a better business reputation of A+? Read all these complaints and adjust their score. They sent me an unsolicited letter when I am on the *** list. The letter was very deceptive, made it look like a check, it wasn't. The letter said it was time sensitive, it was not. It also said my coverage was about to expire, and I have never had a home warranty as they are a complete rip off. They do not honor requests to opt out. I reported them to the **** How in the h*** does an agency with 1.29 rating out of 5 have an A+ rating? They called 7/8 times a day. Leave aggressive voicemails. When you call back to tell them stop calling they get rude and still call. They try to force you into buying a bad product. Started refinance January 15, ****'s team kept coming up with excuses to drag on the process of closing (ie. paperwork expired, need updated paperwork, then more paperwork expired, etc.). Signed closing documents 3 times, (end of February, end of March, end of April) then told it had been 120 days and a credit report expired, need to pull it again. Had it been 119 days we would have been approved, Our credit scores had dropped as we struggled to pay our bills while we waited to close our mortgage refinance. Signed closing documents a 4th time third week of May, waited over a week to close. Called, texted, e-mailed for over a month to talk to **** or someone but nobody called back. Finally got a hold of supervisor at 4:50pm on Friday night and was told loan was denied. Is this how trusting clients are normally treated?Mortgage Center, LLC Response

We were never notified that the first loan was denied or never notified the a second loan was started. Why was a second loan started when nothing changed, why wasn't a new credit report pulled to show nothing had changed? If we were notified about the first loan being denied, we never would've authorized the second loan. Because of the Mortgage Center's lack of communication, are in this financial mess with credit scores that have fallen to the 500's from the 700's. We are now struggling to figure out how to pay our bills and not loose our condo without selling. If we have to sell our condo, we would be able to pay off our bills but with a low credit score we won't be able to get another mortgage or even rent a apartment with means we would be living on the street.Review from Mitchell B

I agree with everyone here. I bought a house in May 2021, within the first month I had to pay hidden fees in the way of courses that were advertised as "coming with" the fees I paid to them earlier. They did not send an inspector. Communication is terrible, any time you need to talk to someone, you'll end up speaking to the same two people and if you need to speak to the manager, they will not leave their number in a voicemail so you'll have to call the previous person. In 2022, they did their math wrong and gave me a surplus of $1200, less than a year later they did their math wrong again and have a shortage of 700 (which of course they add interest to). In doing so, my mortgage payment for a fixed mortgage has a range of over $150 they can add or subtract at any time to make things difficult. On top of this, they sent me a paper regarding this change and upped my mortgage a month earlier than they said they were going to because I pay ahead of time. Even though most companies give you a break for being direct deposit a month early, Mortgage Center decides to take more of your money! You were also paid ahead on your mortgage which is why a payment you scheduled pull for an amount more than you expected, earlier than expected. That payment has been reapplied to cover the shortage in your escrow account and amount leftover refunded to you per your conversation with Michelle Duke. First time homebuyer and they have a terrible lack of communication specifically ********************* is who I was working with and from reading the reviews I see that lack of communication is normal for them. If youre a first time homebuyer I would not work with them at all but I can tell you WARSAW Federal got me a preapproval within ****************************************************************************************** the morning asked some questions and was very informative about the process and i had a preapproval by noon.Mortgage Center, LLC Response

DO NOT DO BUSINESS!! I chanfe mortgage officers twice because the firat one was so rude and condescending as if my busness wasnt good enough for him. he spoke down to me as if he was doing me a favor. There were several instances of misrepresentation in the out of pocket cost. i was asked for the same documents multiple times. asked the same questions over and over again. Uneccessarily stressful. I was given 3 different downpayment figures which had me withdrawing from my 401k twice and one gift of 2K from my ailing mother. They charged me $749 for an appraisal/inspection AS THE PURCHASER (Isnt that supposed to be to the seller?) and the appraisal/inspection is incomplete because how did they NOT SEE that the exhaust pipe for the gas that is supposed to lead out side through the roof was disconnected? The gas company turned off my gas because they said with it being disconnected and has no hopes of being connected because the new metal roof has no allowances for an exhaust to be installed, that bad gas is circulating inside the house which will cause carbon monoxide. So in essence I have NO GAS except going to the stove unless I convert this, by way of heat pump into electricity which will cost me $7k. isnt that what inspections are for? to catch this stuff? Looks to me like I need to get my appraisial money back. I am hopping mad and here figuring out what legally are my steps now.Mortgage Center, LLC Response

I have been waiting for someone to help me adjust a $50 late fee automatically charged for being 45 min late on a payment. Everyone I talked to made sure I will not be getting an adjustment even when I asked to escalate to a manager I was ignored. I am experiencing hardship and every ***** counts at this time. Im not sure why in good faith I would be denied help. I have tried my best to pay On time always. My internet timed out and I had to resend my payment within the hour.Review from Mary L

Had THE WORST experience with this company, after having had a really good one refinancing my previous home. Purchased my current home from my ******** estate after he passed away, **** left me hanging(I was told he was "out of the office") for 3 MONTHS before the process was resumed. Had to resubmit everything, had to pay further fees, was told the estate paper work was too old(after they had had it in their possession for 4 months), and on and on and on.
