Horrible company, their employees are mean and rude. They charged us $4,000 more than other companies and then refused to honor our warranty. We didn't have the roof 2 months and the first snow thaw and the roof leaked. They used every excuse not to honor their warranty. Horrible, company, people and service

Absolutely false!!
Our price was approved by insurance and that us what was charged. Homeowner wanted to keep recoverable depreciation which they are not entitled too! Also they had a massive ice dam which they created by heating a uninsulated garage which was documented by insurance adjuster. Their is no leaking roof or poor workmanship. We are even going to meet them again to verify this 4/4/24.

Roof looks nice but I question their integrity. My home roof was redone January 2023. I am happy with the shingles, but have some issues with the company. 1) Salesmanship - During the sales process (Chris) repeatedly said any roof sheating was going to be done with plywood to the tune of $81 per sheet - I only saw OSB on the jobsite. I opted for the upgraded and uncharged ridge vent only to not have one installed that I can see - was I credited for not using this item? I opted for upgraded sheating and ice barrier on this- while cleaning my gutters for this winter i cannot see a single layer of ice barrier on the terminating edge of the roof?!?! The quote was for around $16k which the final price was over $20k with no receipt or line items. The crew was here 2 total days. 2) Messy - my Christmas lights that were on the gutters were thrown into the tree branches. There was trash (chip bags, glove wrappers, and enegery drink cans around my yard. Two white pvc boards were just left laying in my yard - I still have them. There was a lot of debris left from shingle cutoffs that were all around the house. Saleman Chris said he would be here to go around to look at the completed project but pushed back that meeting until after dark - the "completed" project was not able to be viewed, nor the trash. 3) Destructive - the crew backed a dump trailer onto my flagstone pavers and cracked them. This was also accompanied with ruts in my yard. The gutter was also banged up from where they got up on the room. The salesman (Chris) said that they took money off the total for their mistake. I have zero faith in his statements or his integrity. Overall, unhappy with this company. No receipt, nothing itemized, no proof that the items agreed to and paid for were used (ice barrier, plywood, or ridge vent). I do not recommend this company. I would appreciate some followup to this as my first google review was met with silence.West Michigan Roofing Co. Response

The roofing consultation and actual installation were both excellent. The sales person gave all price options and did not push for the highest price items. I was kept informed about the progress and appreciated the clean-up after the completion. Excellent experience with this company!Review from BOB C

The work is done and the guys did a great job. We really appreciate all the work that WM Roofing has done from quote to finish. Your team had installed a roof for us over 20 years ago and we were so impressed with the quality of your work and your follow up service over the years that we didnt even think about contacting any other roofing company. We also have had several very nice comments from our neighbors about the crew (Big Men Construction) one neighbor behind us commented about how she had enjoyed their music, whistling, and singing. We later found out that the whistling was a code they used to enable easier communication. Everyone appreciated how hard they worked and their good humor during a long 13 hour work day. I am so glad you made the decision to include that new lower roof venting system. I think it is going to work very well. The finished lower roof vent looks great and several of our neighbors have had very positive comments about the vent and how it looks and were interested in how it works. Several have houses with very minimal soffits like ours and cannot install normal vents. Anyway, Thank you for all your help. *** and ****Review from Christopher W

They replaced my roof in a timely manner and were the only company that recommended a saddle by my chimney. They worked very neatly as it was a tear off.. I would recommend them for a reroof.Review from Dennis S

West Michigan Roofing did a fantastic job in re-roofing our house. We had roof damage from a tree. They were prompt to respond in covering the roof from additional rain damage. Kevin, their Project Consultant was responsive; he worked with the insurance agent and was a terrific communicator. Our entire roof was replaced and the attitude of the installers was helpful and polite. The Customer Relations Specialist, Amanda, was responsive in communication and handling the warranty registration. The Project Consultant was present before, during, and after the installation. I cannot imagine having a better experience with a roofing company. My son had his West Michigan Roofing install a new roof shortly after they completed our job.
