      At 10:00 10 on Thur Mar. 2, 2023 I talked with *****************, owner of G&P plumbing. She refused my request to discount G&P labor rates though an employee of "Drain Resolvers" performed work on my drains on Wed Feb 22, 2023 and not a G&P employee. Rootraiders.comIS USING THE BBB LOGO THAT SAYS IT IS AN BBB ACCREDITED BUSINESS. A CHECK ON BBB.ORG ON TUE **** SAYS THAT G&P IS NOT AN ACCREDITED BUSINESS.Rootraiders.com is quoted "Our work is 100% satisfaction guaranteed." (but they sometimes give others the work.)On Feb. 20, I called G&P plumbing to help resolve a drain issue. They have worked in my plumbing a few times for many years. The receptionist said they would be visiting after 300 pm on Wed. Feb. 22, 2023. She did not provide a price for clearing the drains.At 400 pm W2-22, a plain white minivan enters my driveway; it was not painted in the usual G&P manner. A stranger steps out.He did not have any identification. He said that because G&P was busy they out-sourced the work to his company, Drain Resolvers. I was very disappointed that G&P did not visit themselves or tell me something different was to be expected and allow me an opportunity to call a plumber that met my qualifications for custormer references, plumbing problem resolutions, customer disputes, and character etc. (i.e. call Drain Resolvers directly).The drains were obstructed for 48 hours. The house was on very minimal flushing to prevent them from coming into the basement. As this man showed up at the time that G&P said they would visit and the drains were becoming full, with a high amount of caution, I allowed this man inside to clear the drains. While closely monitoring his work I kept a sufficient self defense distance from him.I asked him if I should pay him in care of G&P or Drain Resolvers. He said G&P told him that the visit to my house "...is not a billable call." I said that they can send me a bill.At his truck when he left he gave his business card from Drain Resolvers.

      We at G & P were short-handed but wanted to insure ************************ was well taken care of, so requested our partner, Drain Resolvers, please take care of him. Since we were booked for several days, he would not be able to receive service in a timely manner.

      We had been an Accredited BBB Member for many years; but when my partner, ******************* our Master Plumber, passed away, decided not to renew our membership.  The technician who was sent was new and unfamiliar with how to handle G & P Plumbing customers.  ************************ was accustomed to the personal service he experienced prior to this visit, often by 
      ****, the owner, himself which was not possible. The work was done correctly by the technician.  We feel there is not a reasonable reason to expect a discount on his service. We have mailed the invoice to *************************
