      The "installers" called me downstairs to direct placement of furniture. Two of them picked up the table to move it, and leg fell to floor. They IMMEDIATELY started rattling off what can only be described as a litany of prearranged excuses - claiming it was "old damage", leg was "already loose", or it was "previously repaired with a dowel rod and glue"...yet there was no dowel rod fragments, and the new hole in the leg was clean.They "attempted" a repair with construction adhesive and the factory s**** I agreed to wait overnight for it to dry to determine next step, but I immediately called ***'s and spoke with ******, leaving a detailed message of the issue and for KODIAK to call first thing Tuesday.I had to call ******, gave him details, and sent him picture of damage. He said he'd talk with ***. I waited until Thursday, still no word from *** or KODIAK, so I emailed again. Finally got a call from *** this morning.*** tells me he trusts his "senior installers" and that "people are giving him different stories". Of course they are...they're covering their ***** and denying responsibility . He wanted to send them out (same crew) to look at fixing. *** had no clue why I didn't want 4 people, who were yelling in my home, back for another round.Twice I mentioned I'd like to have my handyman come, correctly fix table with a bolt, not glue, and have them cover that cost. That wasn't acceptable to ***, so I told him that I'm sorry he chose to believe them, and that I would never recommend his business again.***I posted a comment on his page challenging his commitment to customer **********************, and *** called again, asking to send a different installer to "report on situation". Since every contact has been deflection of responsibility, I didn't agree.This isn't about me trying to extract $$ from the situation. Mistakes happen. I wanted an experienced repair person/handyman sent and paid. I've arranged that on my own.

      JCS did reach out and offer to send the installation crew back out that did the installation to fix the issue. When we were told that they did not want the installers back we offered to send a different installer to take a look and they refused. *** was told that the customer wanted their own handyman to fix. *** acknowledged and asked the customer to reach out to us once the repair was done so that we may come to a resolution in this. If the repair amount is within reason he would gladly pay for the repair.
