    Lowes store #********************************** I request refund of ****** The first cashier rung up my order. I ran my debit card through the machine. My debit card was accepted and the money was removed from my checking acct. NO RECEIPT PRINTED OUT I was told since the receipt did not print out the transaction didn't go through. She told me to step to another register to rescan the entire order. The order was rescanned and the transaction was successful. I also added on an additional Gift card for ****** so the total was ******. I checked my online banking and both transactions went through. A total of ****** was removed from my account. I went back into the store to have the first transaction of ****** credited back to my account. The lead cashier looked up the transactions on both registers and said the first transaction for ****** could not be credited back because there was no record of the transaction taking place. I said it took place because the money was removed from my account by your store. I showed her my phone which showed the money was removed. I said if it showed up on my phone, how could it not show up in your system. She said I have to take it up with my bank. I spoke with another supervisor who summarized up my complaint without any input from me, and said there's nothing we can do with no proof of the transaction. I showed him my phone which had the transactions on it. I told him the transaction did take place and I have proof of it on my phone. He said he worked at a bank for nine years before he took this job, and he knows that nothing can be done by the Lowes establishment. I then said this is beyond fraudulent and I will contact an attorney, He then refused to speak to me anymore because I mentioned the word lawyer. I opened an investigation with my credit union. They informed me that ***** didn't want to investigate the matter, and ****** should have taken care of the matter immediately after seeing both transactions on my bank statement.
