I HAVE OVER 30 YEARS OF MECHANICAL EXPERIENCE, I BOUGHT AN *** COMPRESSOR THAT RUNS THE ENTIRE *** SYSTEM IN MY UNIT. I BOUGHT IT FROM ***** AND IT WAS A DEFECTIVE PART. NOW I SENT IT OFF FOR WARRANTY, AND ***** DETERMINED IT WOULD NOT GIVE ME WARRANTY BECAUSE OF SOME BS REASON THEY GAVE ME. I ONLY HAD THE PART INSTALLED FOR LESS THEN 2 WEEKS. THERE IS NO WAY THE *** COMPRESSOR COULD HAVE BEEN DAMAGED BY ME OR THE DRIVER. HERE IS THE ****** WBA0372951 Ticket Status: Denied VIN: *****Misc Mileage: ******* ********** date: 1/1/1998 Odometer Unit: Miles **** of Failure: 2/17/2023 Filing claim to: Direct Authorization code:Customer Claim Number:Work *************************************** Number: ********** 3/9/2023 3:42 PMHectorTSR replied to the email and advised, less than 1 month is plenty of time for a compressor to be exposed to a high duty cycle to cause the concern. TSR advised, since the result from the lab has been provided, there is no way to overturn the decision. TSR advised the information presented does not indicate a defect in original material or workmanship of the ***** product at this time. TSR advised, the case is being denied.External Comment 3/9/2023 2:44 PMHectorTSR called back to the facility and spoke with ******. TSR advised, the compresor was tested on the lab and the compressor was not building air pressure due to the compressor being exposed to a high duty cycle, causing the compressor to pass oil, allowing carbon to build up on the unloader piston. TSR advised the information presented does not indicate a defect in original material or workmanship of the ***** product at this time. TSR advised it is up to the customer to give authorization for all diagnostics and repairs. TSR advised, the case is being denied.****** stated, the facility returned the compressor because the fault was presented with less than 1 month of the compressor being sold.TSR requested if more tech story can be provided from the customer since the problem with the compressor is not considered warrantable.****** will update the case with the requested information. TSR emailed a copy of the case to the facility.External Comment 2/17/2023 11:07 AMShaneRobert (T) called in to start a service part warranty on a single compressor **************) under service part warranty coverage.
