      My automobile broke down on the HWY going to an event held in *******. My insurance company sends a tow to take my vehicle to the closet repair shop (that I chose) using ******* I had to spend the night in **** due to not having any transportation to get back home and I needed to find out what was wrong with my vehicle. Early the next morning I arrived to the shop to tell the repair *********************** that I had a break down on the highway and since he specialized in foreign vehicles that I needed to have my vehicle repaired. He said he would take a look and call me with estimates. The first meeting he was nice when i called him a week later to get an update on my vehicle he said it was a belt and it would cost me **** plus dollars to fix. He calls me a week later then say unfortunately your motor is busted but i can order you one and install for **** and that includes the **** work he did prior to knowing it was my motor. I contacted the *************** and was told that I had a warranty on my vehicle and they could help with the motor and any related parts. I call the shop to tell the repair guy and was met with utter disrespect that I had a warranty on my vehicle and he felt like he had wasted his time and had to send a diagnostic for my vehicle to the warranty and have an inspection completed. He stated that this new motor would only have ***** mile on. My vehicle was dropped off at this shop on Oct 29 it is now December I had a recent death in my family and I contacted the repair shop to ask if the warranty went through and he said he didn't have a price. After i told him that i needed my vehicle he end up calling me back not even 10 minutes saying i owed him **** for oil and some other issue. Capitalizing on my grief. I contacted the Warranty people and asked for an itemized list of what they were paying to compare and was told that payment was authorized on Nov 12th. I called to ask about my car and was told we will call you when its ready. I need my vehicle now.

      We have no idea why this customer is making a complaint when we went above and beyond helping her after she's been getting screwed over by ever other shops she goes to. We are a high volume shop and one of the busiest shop right now in south east Michigan. ******** brought vehicle to us due to died on highway and had motor issues, We inspected found broken timing belt. We advised customer with an est. and advised we will need to start with job repair #1 to make sure vehicle is at operating condition. After preformed 1st repair vehicle motor now turns over but has bad compression. called customer advised her what was found as well number of other issues that motor had from other shop that was installed and that we fixed for her to solve issues. ******** was provided est for a good used  engine with low miles. ******** gave shop the OK to start replacement. During repair customer advised shop after *********************** started that now she has extended warranty. when she didn't provide this information to shop at the first place. Shop had to stop and put everything back together and start we warranty claim. We started claim and waited for adjusted to come in on warranty side time witch took about 1-2 weeks due to they are busy as well. after talking and providing information and showing warranty company inspector they provided information to company to await approval. After 1 week shop got the ok to replace engine and transfer her new parts we installed on JOB#1 over to good used motor. We called customer and was yelled at to explain the brake down and information that was provided to shop and was given shop rude attitude due to she was dealing with a family issue. We gave the customer time to call back to go over vehicle information.  ******** was RUDE, Demanding, Unprofessional, As well disrespectful on all levels and have it all recorded over phone line system. We still are helping the customer after her wrong actions that was taken towards company. Vehicle repair is being completed. No payment was made from ******** nor warranty company until vehicle repairs are complete. Vehicle engine was ordered from warranty company. Repair shop in stalling good used motor for warranty company and moving at a timely matter. This type of repair can not be rushed, can not be pushed. Repairs are being completed and going as planed. Now regarding time frame when the car was towed to us until vehicle is complete is not on the company fault. All these steps take time, **************** takes there time as well, everything is timed out correctly as well this is they most busiest time of the whole year due to the **** SHORTAGE all repair shops are backed up. We took the customer in to help her with out having an appointment, as well we also had to adjust our work load to fit customer due to help her to have a good vehicle to be road worthy. ******** needs to be understanding as well be respectful to company helping her out. Any further issues have customer contact ********************** shop with respect and we will be happy to go over this comment with her to have her understand the whole brake down of this prosses.
