I am a member of Planet Fitness at *************** in ****. On Feb 25, 2023, I became unconscious in the gym and admitted to hospital. Once I was stable, on Feb 25, I called Planet Fitness to know what happened. I was happy that they called ambulance.On March 18 10:57 AM (as per my call records), I called them again. I asked them to freeze my account since I was recovering at that time (and, still is). They agreed that they will freeze my account. Once the account is froze, as per the contract, the company is not supposed to charge me the monthly fee. I started noticing that Planet Fitness keep charging me monthly. On 4/29/23 12:04 PM, I called Planet Fitness and asked why they are charging me even after freezing the account. The person who attended the phone asked me to call on week day and talk to the manager. So, on 5/3/23 3:41 PM, I called the manager and explained the situation. Initially, he claimed that I did not call Planet Fitness after the accident. I informed him that I called multiple times and asked to freeze the account and I can check my call log if needed. After hearing that he said he will credit any amount charged after freeze. On 5/20/23 while checking my account, I noticed that not only Planet Fitness did not refund the amount they charged before during freeze, but, they again charged me the monthly fee.Planet Fitness owe me $75.15 (Amount charged on March 17-prorated, April 17 and May17).Initial Complaint

I contacted, via their website, Planet Fitness to cancel my membership in March. I have never used their gym or even been on their premises. They're charging my a monthly fee for their membership without my authorization. I asked them to cease and desist with this collection as I have no interest in maintaining a membership with them. No reply. In April when they charged me for a membership my bank reversed the membership fee. Still, nothing from the gym so I figured it was FINALLY resolved. Yet, today, again, I was charged the monthly membership fee. I would like my membership fully cancelled, funds collected returned to me, and to not have any additional charges made to my accounts.
