Gutter purchase in 2021. Left a gutter in my yard. Called every year in spring to have it taken away. No response from the company.Initial Complaint

We contracted them to install gutters in March of 2022. Paid our deposit. Our date was pushed back more than once. When they showed up (no knock on the door to let anyone know they were here), our deck wasnt cleared so they left. We would have been happy to clear the deck in no time. I had the wrong date recorded so didnt know they were coming. We were cancelled again because he had Covid (understandable). From that point on, we were continually pushed back and he got extremely nasty with both my husband and I. Hung up and wouldnt take our calls. We started calling again this yearno return calls. Finally got through and was treated the same way again. He hung up on me. We just want our deposit back at this point. Im afraid to have him near my home to even finish the job. Hes obviously unstable.Business response

Customer was informed at the time of the estimate that the deck needed to be cleared before we can do any work as there was not one square foot navigable. set an installation date, they were not going to be home for, the deck was not cleared. Set another date, showed up, the deck was not cleared for a second time. In our contract it clearly states that if we arrive and cannot complete the work because of such reasons they lose their deposit. in good faith we showed up a second time and with total disregard for anyone but themselves the deck was still not cleared. The communication between the husband and wife was obviously flawed as the husband told me to only deal with him and when I did the same thing happened with the wife making up a story that I just showed up randomly the second time. which is completely false. We do not do anything without an appointment. **** ***** contacted me yesterday and did nothing but yell the entire time even when I gave her an option to resolve the is*** and get the job back on the schedule. We lost two full days of work due to their irresponsible behavior. there will be no refund of their deposit, we plan to *** for the entire contract that we are owed. Failure to allow access to a job site is not a reason to cancel or request a refund.Customer response
