I have been with Proof Pest Control for over a year. I called customer service today to cancel my contract and they will not do it unless I pay for the month of ***. I pay approximately $600 a year, $48 a month for their services and they come every 3 months. I do not feel that I should pay the $48 for *** just to close account. Thank you.Business response

You are absolutely correct that you should not have been asked to pay for *** as your account was fulfilled. I paid $43 a month for year of service to fix an ant, bee and spider problem. Every time they came out they only did 1 side of my house, never did the inside even when requesting, got a huge infestation, my my daughter and I who allergic to bees got attacked leaving the house 2 days after they "fixed" the problem. Per the agreement if I am not happy they will come back out. Never got the return service that was requested. When I called to cancel I was told they wanted to make it right and would send the Manger out, when I was available. So we were set for Thursday from 5-6, got a call they were canceling and would call me back to reschedule. Never got that call until the following week when the manager at 6pm called to say he was on his way but would be ***** still. I told that will not work I was not aware he was even coming. So he asked me if Saturday morning would work they work 9am-1pm. I said if it's going to be Saturday it would have to 9am I got to go to work. Well I waited till 10:15 called to see what happened, I was told she check in qnd call me right back. 45 minutes later I called back, was told they had till 1pm. I said NO the manager set it up qnd he was to be her by 9. I have to leave. So they were sending a Teach not the manager, and not showing up to 11:30am. Late to work because of all this and they never keep up their end of the contract.Business response

We reached out to ***** on 6/27. We called and apologized for the complications with her service. According to ***** (our assistant manager), she appreciated the follow up since most companies don't do that. ***** offered to personally take over her account and to give her a couple months of free pest control. ***** decided to pass on it and just cancel her account and ***** took care of that for her.
