      I had already moved the majority of my things and kept a select few for staging for an open house. I **ntacted this **mpany to move the remaining items (all small/light) the next day. I was quoted 1 price on the phone and I thought it was high. They called me back later and said they would lower the price because they had another job in the vicinity of where I was moving the same day. I paid the $100 deposit and set the appt. for early Sun morning. I signed renters at the open house whose ins ** was paying because their house was being repaired. They were going to check with the ins ** to see if the furniture **uld stay. I **ntacted the movers to let them know I might be cancelling and was told (rudely) I needed to decide so that his movers **uld sleep in. I didn't hear from the renters and so cancelled the move. Almost immediately the renters texted me that they didn't need the furniture and I called the **mpany back. They said the other job they had had cancelled so did I want to move it to Mon and I agreed. Mon movers kept calling to say they were running late and didn't arrive until ****pm. They then told me a **mpletely different price than I was told on the phone. Renters were moving in on Thur, didn't have a choice. Movers were slow, and when we got to the new house gave me a final price before moving anything off the truck. I never saw a receipt, was told it would be emailed to me. I didn't know how much I paid till it showed up on my CC statement. Even at the rates they stated, I was overcharged by $156 and disputed the transaction. Owner called/texted me numerous times calling me a scammer and telling me I was ripping them off.

THE 100$ WAS A MANDATORY DEPOSIT WE ASK OF EVERY CUSTOMER TO RESERVE THERE MOVE/TRUCK FOR THERE *** OF MOVE!......AND THE DEPOSIT WENT TOWARDS THE COST OF THE MOVE!.THIS PERSON NEVER ONCE CALLED OUR OFFICE TO ASK ABOUT THE FEES/****. NOR SAY ANYTHING WHEN SHE PAID THE **** ON MOVE ***!!!!!!!!! IN**** SHE GOT A HUGE DISCOUNT!!!!!!!!!! DUE TO THE **** ITS WINTER AND ITS OUR SLOW TIME SHE SAVED OVER $300..............

LIKE SHE DIDNT WANT TO TALK LIKE GROWN ***************** AND HUNG THE ***** UP........ IVE BEEN IN BUSINESS SINCE 2006 AND I DONT OVER CHARGE MY COUSTOMERS THATS EXTREMELY BAD FOR BUSINESS! AND WITH THAT REPUTATION I WONT BE IN BUSINESS ???????????? WOUNDNT YOU THINK. **** IS RUDE AND SHE EVEN MADE UP LIES TO KEEP RESCHEDULING HER MOVE SAYING HER PIPES BUSTED AND WATER WAS EVERYWHERE.       I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:

      The owners response did not include a detailed receipt that I asked for.  

      The two complaints that I have are that the company quoted me one price over the phone and then gave me another when they eventually came to move me, and that I never received any paperwork or receipt for the move explaining the charges.

      From the reviews online, this seems to be a common practice with this company and it appears it's mostly women and the elderly they are targeting.

      In fact the response to my review was that I was not a customer and my review was "fake".  After reading the response, I would hope that you would investigate this company based on their bullying tactics as well.  I received over 30 phone calls/text from the owner and at no time was he ever professional or polite.

      I reserved the company to move the contents of my home on October 24, 2022. I was unable to answer the phone when they reached out to notify us they were on the way, not knowing this my wife called the company about 45 minutes after the agreed upon arrival to make sure all was good and they were indeed coming. I was unable to be home until 10a.m. so I was not there just my wife. The man was noticeably angry and told her that they tried to call but there was no answer but they were on their way. About 30 minutes later they called her, again noticeably angry, they were lost in the sub and implying that the wrong address had been given. She directed them to the condo and upon arrival his voice was still mean and angry, complaining first about the weight of my safe arguing that they were misled about that. They had to make an inventory of everything that they were to move so as we made our way into the condo he started complaining that things weren't packed correctly. By the second room she was in tears which only made him angrier. This was apparently the head man of the crew as the other two were trying to soften everything he was going on about. After about 5 minutes of complaining he grabbed the clip board from the guy who was taking the inventory and said "I don't need this shit!" and walked out! The other two just followed behind.As they were pulling out they were all screaming at each other.I was left on moving day with no one to move me. I had to leave a $100.00 deposit that I have disputed with my credit card company with no resolution as of yet.

      The incident occurred on 9/30. ********************* the owner was unprofessional and verbally abusive. Refused to provide a receipt at the beginning and end of the move. I called the police to make a claim. He did not complete the job he was hired to do, nor did he put together a single piece of furniture. He was complaining the entire time like I was inconveniencing him and not paying for a service. I gave him cash and he took it without doing the job he was hired to do. His other two employees ***** and ****** were telling me that he was not acting professionally and very apologetic. ****** even offered to move my mother on his own time, providing me with his personal phone number, because he knew we were being mistreated. After further diving into the reviews, I now see that several people have had the same problem.

      this customer was very RUDE TO all 3 ********************** as soon as the movers arrived! we alomst didnt do the move do to the lack of respect ***** was showing us! we couldn't believe we where being treating like that!, we only did the job to help her out!, and than it went good while she was gone did an A1 job, when arrvied at off load her husband had his arms croosed and then he began to act very crazy! and ran after a mover to FIGHT! IT was all captured on therre ring on the door! we wanted to end the move so we just finshed the job! THIS IS THE WORSTED CUSTOMER IVE ENCOUNTERED IN 2 YEARS!,,,,,,,
