On 08/23/2021`****** L came to fix the shower because it was without heat. He went to the basement a turned up the heat on the water heater but it still did not work. He was going to leave without it being fixed BUT I said that I wanted him to check the cartridge in the shower that might need to be cleaned because of a viedo I saw on ******* .He said the s**** was rusted and he could not get to the cartridge. He said he loaned some of his tools but that he probably could not get it off even if he had the right tool. He said to call on Monday for a estimate on a new shower valve and replacement that he said would cost over 500 dollars. He left after less than a half hour.5 minutes after he left I called Ellingson's and told them I could get the s**** off myself with the right tool and to send someone else. ***** came and got the s**** off that supposed made me need to new shower in less than 5 minutes. He fixed the shower by replacing the cartridge in about a hour. I had done business with Ellingson's for over ten years and did not have problems with Ellingson's until 08/23/2021. Also, in that ten years they never said they had problems with me. I tried to talk to the service manager on Monday but he was busy. I finally got a hold of the service manager on Tuesday and he acted like I was the problem. I asked him why ***** said I needed a new shower and he said He did not know. Asked service manager at the end of Sept if he found out why ***** said I need a new shower and he said no good reason. But I would like a better explanation.I have spent 1000,s of dollars at this business for over ten years then one day one employee says I need a new shower when I do not need a new shower. The other plumber is competent but makes rude and untrue remarks about me and my place. My husband has never called Ellingson's so this **** and past bills need to be in my name only. Office staff told me they added his name to past bills in their new computer system.Business response

We are meeting with our staff to review how we missed the **** on your service call, and we wont allow for repeats. On 12/8/21, we removed the $178.83 balance from your account and your husbands name from your account as requested.Customer response
