            After sitting with the property manager to review the lease break terms and fees, I paid what I owed to break the lease due to my employer demanding return to office work only. When I paid the almost $10,000 fee, I asked if any additional money would be due before I moved out. I was told no, that I was paid up and would not owe any money. The lease break fee was 1 month's rent + a % of additional months' rent left in the lease. SURPRISE - I now owe rent for the month I am moving out. After being told I would not owe ANY additional money, and after paying almost $10,000 in lease break fees, they want to collect an additional month's rent. The manager specifically said I would not owe anything else and now is back tracking and telling me he never said that. This company will nickel and dime you to live in a disgusting, trash filled, fly infested townhouse where the police show up almost daily (not to mention the gunfire!) Not exactly the LUXURY experience you are paying for. Save your money, or better yet, sleep in your car.
