I was referred through a handyman Duffy came out 4 estimate & within a few days I was getting emails from the wife on putting half of the estimate down to hold a spot, I messaged my handymandidnt get a response I went ahead and put down $1955. The original date to have the Hardwood Floors refinish was in November and my son was living here had closing for his home moved up a month/ explained to owner Nov wouldnt work The next opening was January 2, Continued to get emails over the months/there was a lot of odd questions and never got response back from making phone calls. I received an email. On December 21 at 4 in the afternoon and there were more stipulations on doing the flooring so I emailed back with 2 questions that I had because it was now becoming incredibly uncomfortable. I got a phone call about 20 minutes later from the owner and his wife said she wasnt gonna read the email because it was too long, this man and his wife had me in tears. Its been a financially difficult year and this man while I was crying he said I wish I would never hadThis job hung up on me after talking to ********** for referral /, they referred me to a gentleman who owns Omni, Floors , and ironically this person used to work for Duffy, and he quit because of the abusive behavior, not only to employees of of of Duffy floor he was also very abusive to customers I emailed back, and I said, after having degrading things, said to me over the phone that I wanted to cancel the project. The only thing that this person did was came in for an estimate / There was no special stain. It was just a simple refinishing and doing a coat of of the refinishing product that they use. I requested my money back and they have refused to reimburse me the $1955/company came out to do a bid for refinishing and because I trusted a person would worked out my home/ please help me with this. HE DID NO WORK/ DIDNT PURCHASE SPECIAL ITEMS/HAD ME SOBBING
