We contracted with a local business for new soffit metal on our house. They provided an estimate and we paid them 1/2 the money as down payment. We can no longer reach anyone at the company. I have left multiple messages but no one calls me back to try and schedule the work. I went to their office but building is closed. The company is named: Howe Siding LLC, ANC Seamless of Austin, The quote was written by ********************* and we provided Howe siding LLC. with a down payment of $ ******** in May of 2021. I would like my deposit back as soon as possible so I can hire a different contractor.I am writing concerning a lack of response to a proposal from 5/20/2021.On 5/21/2021 a deposit check number **** in the amount of $ ******** was issued for work to be performed.I had been contacting ********************* for several month in 2021, June, July August, and November. In November **** was still optimistic that during the winter months this would be done.In May of 2022 I contacted **** again and he gave me your information, so Im not sure when he officially parted ways with Howe Siding LLC.I called ***************** on 5/18/2022 and left a detailed message to respond back to me on the status of this project, and if Howe siding was not planning on working on this project that I wanted my $ ******** down payment refunded. There has been no response on that phone call and I am very frustrated by the lack of response.
