      I ordered the replacement beveled glass for my storm door plus the trim kit in mid June of 2024. A few days later the trim kit arrived. I waited a few days before contacting them in regards to the glass and when I did, I was told it would arrive in about 4-6 weeks. I reached out via chat on 08/03/2024 to inquire about the status and was told by ******************** that there was no information from *** to verify if the glass was ever picked up or if it was damaged during shipping. He said he would put in a new order and it would arrive in about 16 days. I told him I wanted expedited shipping and the chat abruptly ended. I opened a new chat and was given the 844 number to call during business hours. On 08/05/2024 the following Monday and asked to speak with a supervisor. **** came on the line speaking very bad broken English making it hard to understand. I explained my situation and he asks me to wait while he goes through the file. He comes back and says there is no record of me contacting Andersen on the 3rd which means the agent *******************, lied. **** said he would place a new order and that I would receive it in about 5-6 weeks. I told him that was unacceptable since Ive already been waiting over six weeks. I said Ive been lied to and now youre telling me I need to wait another 5-6 weeks. I said I wanted a full refund to the card I used to purchase these items and I needed a return label sent so I could return the trim kit. He proceeds to tell me that there is a restocking fee that I would be responsible for. I said I will not be paying that fee. This failure is your fault not mine and I will not be penalized for it. He then says he will waive the restocking fee but I would be responsible for the return shipping. Again I said I will not be paying Andersen one red cent more for their failure. He then snaps back and says, just keep the kit and Ill issue you a full refund. I dont care what you do with the kit at this point, keep it or throw it away its up to you.

      So NOT work with this company. Lies from sales all the way through install. Once purchased they provide zero customer service for their installed products. 12k for a door and 2 weeks after install they will not help at all. Terrible company. Big corporation. Regardless of what local company you choose, any real issues will be handled at the national level and they dont care at all about the customer or product. Now we have to be in court.

      I have an EMCO storm door. The metal on the door bracket broke in half. I called customer support and they want to charge $20 to replace this small piece of metal. It only has a one year warranty I am told. This door was expensive and this part should hold up better. Now Im shopping around to find an affordable way to replace this door closer part. I feel that ******** has let me down. The part is even out of stock at my local ***********

      Poor customer service. I called the 800 support number and after waiting on line for a while, I reached a call center in the ***********. In broken English the person was filling in the blanks on a website for missing parts in our storm door kit we bought from ********** only to tell us it would be about 11 days to get the parts. I could have filled in the blanks but I wanted to talk to someone at their US headquarters. What a waste of time. I dislike call centers outside the **. Just gonna wrap up this missing part stuff cr$& and drive it back to HD and they can deal with ********. If they advertise they are a US company then they should have customer support in the **!!!

      I had a salesman give me quote for new windows two years ago, after the quote, I told him I would discuss this with my wife. After seeing all the no pressure ads on fox news, they are full of c*** I literally had to throw this guy out of my house, he would not take no for an answer. I'll never call them again.

      We purchased a new ******** storm door through ********** and had them install it a year ago. All seemed great until I had to fly out of state to my father's funeral. My husband forgot his keys with ***. When we got home we discovered that no place, not even **********, could make a copy of the storm door key. I called ******** and was told we need to purchase an entire new lock at the cost of just under $90! Even though they are the manufacturer they refused to send us key blanks and they have it so that that is the only way to get another key. They did end up giving us $20 off but that's still almost $70 for simply needing a blank key. We are members of AARP due for new windows soon and I've seen their ads but we will not be getting them from ******** after this experience!

      I picked up my Andersen order from the ********** of a Luminaire Retractable screen. The box appeared to be in good condition. When I unpacked the door The plastic pieces started falling. both ends of the screen had damage. It was obvious that the packing was inadequate to protect the thin plastic parts. I called the Andersen number on the instruction page and spoke with ****. She connected me via video chat to look at the damage. One piece was broken off and she asked me what the part was. (I was anticipating her recognizing parts from her product.)We decided the best route would be to return the entire door to HD rather than replace the broken parts which would take ***** days. She advised me to have HD "expedite shipping" and request "special packaging" For $400 dollars you would think that all products would be "specially packaged". I will update when the replacement arrives and will be opening the box at HD

      Yes ******** doors are absolutely horrible! And the locking mechanism on them are a joke!!! The locking mechanism doesnt lock correctly and every time you lock the door you have to lift the handle really hard and turn the locking mechanism and than it just results in the k*** that locks the door getting broken. The locking mechanism starts spinning around in a circle and not locking the door at all! This is all caused by them sending pre hung doors in frames that are to wide apart which keeps the doors to far apart from each other in the middle, which results in the lock not reaching the other doors lock opening to hinge itself in there. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY ON THIS LOW BUDGET BRAND!!! You pay like quadruple the amount of money for these low budget doors and windows and inherit nothing but a headache and stress! Plus your window and door will never lock lol! And ******** doors and windows does nothing to correct the problem!!!

      This is in regards to an employee by the initials DC - please do not do business with this company until they remove that employee. She tried to steal from our company and after contacting her on multiple occasions, both email and phone, we finally had to contact her company Andersen Corporation directly to get any response. Long story short, she attempted to steal from us and it blows my mind why Andersen Corporation would hire her. Just keep in mind that when you're doing business with Andersen Corporation, you could potentially be dealing with scammers and thieves that will take your hard-earned money.

      I'm not very happy with the warranty service I received from Andersen on my fixed pane windows. While still on warrantee, 1 of 7 new windows started to leak. The factory told me it was not possible that the coming into the house could have been from the window. So I hired carpenters and had them install pump jacks to access the window, then remove the trim and evaluate Tyvek and rubber seal around the window. There was no sign of water leakage through the wall. That was a waste of $3,000.At that point Andersen sent a tech who agreed that the water was coming through the window. He came back some weeks later and removed the interior trim, then squirted in some caulking. Now 2 years later, the same window is leaking again. I called Andersen and after 4 calls to talk to someone, was told that service work is only warranted for 60 days, and that now the windows are out of warrantee. They won't do anything for me.If they had repaired/replaced the window in the first place I wouldn't have to pay to replace it myself, and even worse, buy another one. And what really galls me is that I have 6 identical windows on that wall and can't replace the bad one with another brand. Probably the next thing I'll learn is that they no longer make the style I have.
