I bought a 2023 Chevy Equinox with Certified Pre-Owned inspection and warranty on 09/14/23. I specifically talked with the general manager about the rear tires that they looked worn and he said he checked and they were above the Chevrolet requirement of 5/32 minimum tread depth or the dealer needs to replace them. Their CPO inspection form done by their mechanic indicated one rear at 6/32 and the other rear at 5/32. I bought the vehicle that night but drove home and measured the next morning and both rear tires appeared under the minimum required depth. I took the car that morning (12hrs and about 50 miles *** from time of purchase) to Suburban Chevrolet and their inspection mesured 3/32 and 4/32 on the back two tires which is under the minimum depth and Saxe needs to replace the two rear tires per the Chevrolet CPO agreement. The cost of equivalent tires plus tax at ********* about $448 installed. **** needs to replace the two rear tires or pay me $448.Business response

**************** inspected the vehicle that he purchased in person before he made the purchase and was given everything that he asked for during the purchase, including a certified pre-owned warranty. We stand by our tire measurements as accurate and feel that **************** is engaging in a post-sale negotiation tactic.
