***** Plumbing put in a sewer about four years ago for a new construction. This new septic system is suppose to accommodate a 4 bedroom house and multiple people. The house is a 3 bedroom and for half of the 4 years only myself was living there and using this septic system on a daily basis. After about a year and a half it froze up. I called ***' Plumbing and it was unthawed. After that, my husband made many attempts to call ***** Plumbing to see what needed to be done to alleviate this issue in the future and never got a return call. Again this winter the septic froze up. We have an additional $1012 **** to pay to get the septic functioning again. This should not be happening. We have talked to the county recently (who made these requirements/regulations) tell us that something is wrong with our septic as he does not have these complaints/issues from other county residents. Our previous septic right next to the new one had no issues for over 30 years! The only reason we stopped using that one was to comply with new regulations on the new build. We would like it fixed. Also, They also charged us for jetting, this time, which they didn't do, it was only steamed as my husband was with them the whole time they were here. There are other complaints about them that we have but we just want the septic fixed right once and for all.

      Good Afternoon,

In regards to complaint #********, this matter is in dispute.  We installed a new mound type SSTS in June of 2018.  The owner was not happy that it had to be a mound type SSTS, as per ******** code 7080.  I explained to ******************** that I am limited by the code on what I can design and install.  This seemed to satisfy the home owner.  The project started smooth but soon started to deteriorate when the owner blamed ***' Plumbing for another contractor's mistake.  This caused the plumbing rough in to be incorrect due the building not having the correct dimensions as per plan.  I believe that this affected the overall relationship with ******************** and ***' Plumbing.  In November of 2020 ******************** contacted ***' Plumbing with a septic issue.  I sent out my crew to assess the situation.  We found the laterals in the mound plugged with a greasy/fatty substance.  We talked to ******************** about usage and what is being introduced into the drains.  I next heard from ******************** in February of 2022.  He was having issues with his mound again.  I sent a crew out to once again assess the situation.  Once again, the mound laterals were plugged with a greasy/fatty substance.  It had the perforations in the mound plugged.  Crew on site tried to steam and high pressure jet the mound laterals.  We were unsuccessful with our attempts.  Usage was once again discussed and options to find out what is going on with the system.  Discussion also took place with the on-site inspector and the ************************************** Department.  An on-site meeting was agreed upon in the Spring to see what is causing this SSTS to have perforation plugging issues.  It was also discussed to have a tank sample/test performed to see the level of BOD's and FOG's that are present in the tank.  Hopefully we can get this resolved as soon as possible in the spring.  I believe that I have been doing my due diligence in resolving this matter.

I am willing to discuss this matter further upon request.

      Thank You,

      *********************, President
      ***' Plumbing and Heating

P.S.  I just received this letter today, 3/15/2022.

Dear BBB, We are rejecting their response. Again, we opted to meet current codes with our new build on the property to put in a mound system although our outdated system never gave us any problems, which we used for over 30 years.. The contractor's mistake was corrected and there was no issue with that as that contractor stood behind his work and ***' Plumbing was able to complete the rough in.. Although I was standing right there the last time ***** plumbing was out, I was never shown any grease and was only told there was, I personally never saw any grease, neither was it jetted, only steamed. ***** plumbing said they would call and return to get a test sample and they never did. It is very disappointing to spend thousands of dollars for ***' Plumbing not to follow up, not return phone calls or stand by their work when we have been consistently going to them.

      Sincerely, **** and ***********************
