*** said 24hr notice b4 pickup. No notice day b4, so left vms and no response. Got call 8am 12/20 saying theyd come @1pm (only 5hrs notice). At pickup, tried to charge 2x quoted, saying furniture larger than standard & therefore 2x the space. Told me next time have someone walkthru or send pics instead of getting quote over phone. I did get quote from another company who did walkthru- quote was comparable to initial DVL quote. 4man was impatient & pushy while I tried to get ahold of DVL & said I needed to sign or theyd leave. 4man said he would give me a discount & only charge 1.5x if signed now. 4man initially said my loveseat size was 100cft; asked again & said 75cft. I looked up dimensions- 38cft. Finally agreed to move for price quoted. Was told this worst case scenario ********** only be charged for space actually used. No faith company will only charge me for space used. 4man asked me 1st date Id be available & I said 12/27 OR use lockbox on property b4 then. He said ok theyd deliver 12/27. Got 4 calls & text Xmas morning from unknown # saying he was my mover in ******* & would be delivering 12/26AM & asking for payment over the phone. Sketchy & not same person as 4man who picked up items. Said I signed paperwork that Id be there 12/27 & would give check then. Company then called me & tried to get me to pay via Zelle or Venmo. This all took place on holiday Xmas. FMCSA: MUST receive movers notification for delivery >24hrs advance, excluding weekends & fed holidays. Therefore if delivering 12/26, needed to notify Fri 12/22. Notifying on Xmas for next day invalid. Did not receive items on 12/27- heard nothing. Contacted DVL 3x, took 28hrs to get response. Told me items were in warehouse & would ship 1/1 for delivery 1/3-1/6. FMCSA requires movers to inform immediately of name/address of warehouse if items stored. Was not given. Specifically asked & didnt receive. Initially told 3-7day move, now ***** day? Want my items, ******************** to bill.Business response

We will reach out to the agent to see the issue: the delivery timeframe is based on items so if the items increased and therefore increased the volume, it may be taking longer due to not having the extra truck space availability during the holiday. Will follow up.
