            Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:
            Minnesota Dept. of Labor & Industry Consent Order

            On January 17, 2023, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.805, subd. 5(c), 326B.84 (5)(15), 326B.809 (a)(b) and 326B.84 (16) (2020). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to promptly respond and provide complete and truthful responses to requests from DLI; notify DLI if they are found to be a judgment debtor within 15 days; if they have a civil judgment based on their residential contracting activity, they will satisfy or appeal the judgment within 30 days and to ensure their contracts and change orders are in fully compliance with Minn. Stat. 326B.809. The business also agreed to a stay of a monetary penalty, on the condition that they fully comply with the terms of this Order and have no future violations of any law, rule or order under DLI authority.  The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law.
