Incompetent unaware sexist "manager" at 1641 Lakeshore Rd. @ Meadow Wood Rd. in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The sexist heavyset man with tatoos, made a medium cone for the man ahead of me a very nice size. Then he made my medium cone (I'm a woman) a ridiculous amount smaller. It was a tiny pitiful cone that should not have been served to me, or to anyone. I addressed the matter with the cashier. She said it depends who makes the cone (??) and shrugged her shoulders. I asked to speak to the manager. She went back and talked to the heavyset tatooed man who made the cone, and said I would have to wait an unknown amount of time because the manager was 'busy". I wasted another approximately 15 minutes waiting, there were only a few people in the store, but the lazy sexist "manager"couldn't manage to make it to the counter to get my feedback. I have been a Dairy Queen customer for many many years and will not go back there because of this experience. If DQ lets idiots be hired who don't care about their customers, and if HQ at DQ doesn't care how poor hires by individual stores effect their corporate brand, then I will go elsewhere where I get the same size cone as other people, and don't have to deal with unaware inconsiderate neanderthal employees of DQ.Review from Brenda R.

The female owner, *****, is known to be not only rude towards customers, but is also very aggressive. She screamed at me and called me a b*** when I went inside to get a mobile order. I tried getting it in the drive thru that only had 1 car in it and she told me I had to come inside and get it. I said "whatever" in a very neutral tone. She screamed at me saying I screamed at her in the drive thru and acted as if she was being threatened. She should not be a business owner.International Dairy Queen, Inc. Response

Today i ordered food ahead of time to pick up on my short work break. The app told me it would be ready at 10:38, i arrive at 10:40 and they state they never received my order. I have placed pickup orders in the past without issues not sure why i had problems this time. Since i was unable to wait for my food i asked for a refund, they said i had to contact corporate, so i left without food and while still paying. I then contact corporate and they said i need to contact the store the get my refund! So now i will report this charge to my CC company for a refund , DQ is unable to assist with my issue. First off. The manager ****** was rude from the start. I walked in the store at 9:37 pm. She said lobby was closed. I saw other customers leaving so I said ok ill go trough the drive thru. She said I was nit aloud to walk through. So I got onto my motorized bike and tried to order. At the window I was greeted by the same manager. She refused to serve me. She said my motorized bike was not street legal so she did not have to serve me. I am extremely angry that a person in her leadership position would act that way in front of her fellow employees. Something needs to be done about this because they would serve anyone on a motorcycle. So why did I have to be treated this way?International Dairy Queen, Inc. Response

Marshfield would not accept our $100 bill unless we bought $75 of products. Culver’s were more than happy to accommodate us with cash and their employees were adults opposed to children at DQ.International Dairy Queen, Inc. Response

Our local Dairy Queen is always out of chocolate soft serve ice cream here in Monticello Kentucky its unbelievable how much business is lost because of it. And its been that way 2 years in a roll.International Dairy Queen, Inc. Response

Today, June 6, 2022 I visited the local Dairy Queen in Freeport, Illinois and I ordered a 4 pc Chicken Strip Basket and a Medium Twist Ice in a cup with a cone on top. The first thing I noticed is that the cone was broken and I didnt think much of that but when I got to the bottom of the cup their was .11 cents in the bottom of the cup so I contacted the store manager and I ask for their name and they told me Terra and I asked for the last for the last name and they got smart and told me that they dont have to give me their last name. So I told them ok I find out what your last name is within an hour. So then Terra goes on to tell me that I was threating them all I was going to do is report them to the owner about their attitude. Also I told them that I have a medical condition. So the last thing I need to do is get sick from some foreign object being in my food. First of all I want to make clear that the person who made my Ice Cream wasnt the same person that took the money there is no way that they could have dropped money in my cup. EMAIL. Worst customer service ever! I went in for the new mint blizzard, but accidentally said peppermint while pointing to the new blizzard. All a while the cashier was very rude, i couldn't even finish ordering one thing before she would say, "Is that is? Your total is.." I finally finished ordering and waited not too long. Once our blizzards came out we noticed they were incorrect so we asked if we can have them replaced. we immediately got a response of "NO, i'm not redoing it, thats what you get" we were shocked at how rude the cashier was. I asked again to have my item redone as it was not what i ordered and she had clearly confirmed in the beginning what i wanted. She eventually brought out who i would assume would be the manager who came in steaming hot and pointed straight to my face and said " YOU ordered peppermint thats peppermint, you will NOT get a replacement" At this point i was not happy with how things were turning as i just wanted a replacement, so i instead asked for a refund as i was not satisfied with my order. I was then told i couldn't get a refund either and I had to call corporate.......for $7.... which i thought was ridiculous. I said okay not an issue, if i'm going to call corporate i would need your name so i can include who i spoke to. Both refused to give me their names, which i respected. I then said why would i call corporate with out anyones names to go along with my complaint. We easily could have resolved this issue but both employees decided to be rude and not take care of my order. Let alone they had about 5 other customers waiting for partial items that were missing from their orders. To wrap this up, this location has been THE WORST experience i've had with dairy queen let alone ANY restaurant. This place needs a new manager and new employees and might want to throw in some customer service training too. Never returning here again. If i could rate them below a zero i would.
