We took our 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse in for a clutch replacement. First they made us find the part. We asked if we had the correct part. They said yes. Upon delivering the part, it was the wrong part. We ordered another part. This part was correct except it was missing a piece which they asked us to find and purchase. We delivered the part and were told that someone from another department needed to approve the part. We waited three weeks. We called and insisted they get the part approved and begin work on the clutch replacement. In the process, they discovered another part needed replaced. This time they ordered it and told us our vehicle would be done last Wednesday. Today, we went to Brookdale Mitsubishi to find out why we still didn't have our car. We were then told the the part had been ordered from ***** and would take up to six weeks to arrive. They have already had the car since the first week of April. The lack of communication is appalling and unacceptable. They have not offered to rent or loan us a vehicle to use. We have accumulated a large number of UBER charges and expect to be reimbursed for those and to be provided with a temporary vehicle. We would also like them to provide parts and installation for other items we would like done on the car free of charge.Business response

The situation at hand is that all parts for this customer repair are obsolete, in return is naturally causing long wait periods on sourcing and ordering parts to make the repair correctly. We have contacted Mitsubishi corporation which helped getting parts they may work and resolve this customers concerns by 6/5/2023. Have contacted the guest and apologized and worked through the communication errors. Customers are now in contact until car is finished with *********************** the service manager, for brookdale Mazda and Mitsubishi. Lastly, *********************** has made billing adjustments for the customer due to the above situation stated above.
