I had my truck towed into their shop because of a clutch pedal that would not depress and disengage the transmission from engine. There was no noise, no failure or event other than the pedal wouldn't depress. Up until this point the clutch had worked perfectly fine and strong. All clutch parts including the slave and master cylinder were only three years old. THE CLUTCH HAD NOT FAILED. THE CLUTCH SYSTEM SHOWED NO SIGNS OF WEAR OR FAILURE. THE ISSUE WAS THE CLUTCH PEDAL WOULD NOT DEPRESS. THIS IS NO INDICATION OF CLUTCH PLATE OR COMPLETE CLUTCH FAILURE. When I told them I wanted to see the failed parts they told me all the springs had fallen out of the clutch plate and that was the noise that happened when my clutch failed. THE CLUTCH HAD NEVER FAILED AND THERE WAS NO NOISE. After telling me they had already looked at the truck and found the clutch had failed they called the next morning once they had ACTUALLY taken the transmission out and looked at it. At this point they reported a more reasonable problem they found that matched my experience but wouldn't admit they were wrong about the initial diagnosis. Long story short, they're liars and cheaters who think they lie and cheat you because the customer doesn't know about the mechanics of their vehicles. I've been working on cars for years and do happen to know. What I also understand, as well as they do, that I'd have to go to court to argue about their fraud. I'm not paying them a ***** for being lied to. I've already surrendered the vehicle to them but they're threatening to send the bill to collections. I've already taken a loss and I won't be paying them over $700 for a couple hours of actual work and whole bunch of lies. I just want them to contacting me and asking for money when they have legal possession and ownership of the vehicle.

Unfortunately most of these accusations are not true. ***** called us to tow his vehicle after hours and we sent a driver whom spent 30 minutes driving around for a car that wasn't to be found. We assumed it was towed by another company. ***** then called us during business hours asking if we had a diagnose for his vehicle. We explained to him that it was not there when we arrived and spent some time looking for it. ***** called later on, letting us know he located his vehicle and it  was picked up by another towing company and he then wanted us to  tow it out of their lot back to our facility to get it fixed. We have been nothing but upfront with ***** during this situation and we are sorry he did not understand where we were coming from when trying to diagnose a vehicle that was in the condition it was. He explained to us that he did the work himself but could not fix the problem.  We have tried to contact ******************* several different times to have him come into our shop so we could show him what we were dealing with once the vehicle was torn apart. When we first diagnosed the problem we were very upfront with the situation as the clutch work was cobbled together and it was a mess. We let him know once opening it up the possibilities of different outcomes and we were very upfront and honest with him as we were diagnosing the problem. ***** gave us the green light to further open up and diagnose. He was aware of the what the cost would be . Once we had it figured out after getting it torn down ***** then would refuse to answer our phone calls, or have any further contact with us and left his vehicle here. He left us with an unpaid invoice. Unfortunately ***** did not surrender his vehicle to us, he abandoned his vehicle here. He did not allow us to fix the issue as we had it diagnosed. We thrive to giving our customers the best service and we are a honest and an upfront business.
